Strategies to Prevent Lyme & Tick Borne Infections

Lyme disease and tick borne infections are spread through tick bites. The best way to prevent Lyme disease and related infections is to stop ticks from attaching to you. Another strategy is to quickly remove attached ticks before they spread infection. Here are some specific actions you can take to prevent Lyme and related infections.

Actions While Outdoors Where Ticks LiveONE – Use A Good Tick Repellent On Your Skin

Before going into tick habitats, spray your skin with a tick repellent. Ticks are repelled by certain chemicals which limit their chances of getting on your skin or biting you. Common repellants include

  • picaridin,
  • DEET, and
  • essential oils.

Of these, picaridin and DEET work best because they last longer.

Research shows essential oils only work up to 20 minutes after application. Picaridin 20% can last 12 to 14 hours depending on whether a spray or lotion is used. The length of effect of DEET depends on the concentration. DEET 30% can last for 8 hours – while DEET 98% in Backwoods OFF can last for 10 hours.  (See link for article and video)

**Comment**

The best way to protect yourself from Lyme/MSIDS is to prevent being bitten by a tick in the first place.  Lyme/MSIDS can also be passed congenitally and very probably sexually.

SUMMARY:

  • Ross recommends Picaridin over Deet due to Deet leaving an oil on the skin that is potentially neurotoxic.
  • You can use the EPA search tool to find approved tick repellents.
  • After spraying exposed skin, you next spray your clothing, including socks and shoes and hats/gloves with Permethrin (which is not to be put on the skin).  It remains active for 6 weeks or 6 washes.
  • Wear light colored clothing so you can see ticks.  Also tuck shirt into pants and pants into socks to create a barrier.
  • Do regular tick checks and get a person to help you look in places you can’t see.
  • If a tick is attached, remove it quickly and properly.
  • Remove clothing and put them in a hot drier for 15-20 min.
  • Take a shower to remove all sprays and to see any ticks.
  • Decrease ticks on your property and on your pets.

Pfizer Quietly Financed Groups Lobbying for COVID Vaccine Mandates

Many of the supposedly independent consumer, medical and civil rights groups that created the appearance of broad support for the mandate received funding from one of the vaccines’ manufacturers.

In the midst of a contentious debate about Chicago’s plan to force employers to require their workers to take the COVID-19 vaccine, Karen Freeman-Wilson, president of the Chicago Urban League, appeared on television to dismiss complaints that such rules would disproportionately harm the Black community.

“The health and safety factor here far outweighs the concern about shutting people out or creating a barrier,” Freeman-Wilson said on WTTW in August 2021.

Earlier that year, her group had received a $100,000 grant from Pfizer, the manufacturer of one of the most commonly used COVID-19 vaccines in the United States, for a project to promote “vaccine safety and effectiveness.” Although the Chicago Urban League is not normally shy about disclosing its corporate donors, the support from Pfizer is not listed in the “partners” section on its website. The drug industry funding likewise went unmentioned during the interview.

Pfizer’s grant to the Chicago Urban League was one of many that Pfizer made to nonprofits and trade organizations. Pfizer doled out special funding to groups across the country that lobbied in favor of government policies to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine.

The extensive list of those with funding from the pharmaceutical giant includes consumer, doctor, and medical groups, as well as public health organizations and civil rights nonprofits. Many of those groups did not disclose the funding they received from Pfizer while they were advocating for policies that would force workers to get the vaccine.

There were several different and sometimes overlapping vaccine mandates in the country. At the federal level, President Joe Biden issued an executive order, which was ultimately struck down in court, mandating vaccinations at all employers with 100 workers or more. A number of state and local governments forced public employees to get vaccinated and tried to force private-sector employers to follow suit. And many large employers required their employees to get vaccinated without any prodding from the government.  (See link for article)

  • Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, an expert in bioethics, noted that pharmaceutical firms routinely finance outside organizations to shape medical decisions and health care policy.
  • Pfizer, Kheriaty said, engaged in a “form of market manipulation by pushing mandates using organizations that present themselves as scientifically credible, or acting in the public interest, while creating by force a market for the company’s products.”

The article gives the example of a lobbyist for Genentech who had a $50 MILLION lobbying budget, must of which went to third-party groups that spouted its messages.  These messages stoke fears about diseases and plant news stories for the need to stockpile drugs for them.  The lobbyist was able to orchestrate a delay in the FDA’s decision to ban the use of a lucrative cancer drug that didn’t work, allowing the company to reap more profits.

Pfizer, with its endless money for marketing, was able to defy all logic and reason for “vaccine” mandates by influencing organizations with paid for propaganda:

  1. If you had COVID, you have excellent immunity.
  2. When there was a shortage of the injections, they didn’t go to the population most at risk.
  3. They are utterly worthless and unsafe.

These ludicrous and ineffective mandates were declared unconstitutional but not until many succumbed to keep their jobs or were fired for not getting them.  Informed consent was nonexistent and many suffered and continue to suffer from these fraudulent mandates.

The Information Cartel’s “Civic Listening”: Latest Twitter File Dump

“Civic Listening,” More Newspeak For Censorship

“Civic listening.” That is what social media platforms call it when they help the government spy on its citizens. 

This comes from a new round of Twitter Files, published by Andrew Lowenthal, former executive director of a non-governmental organization called Engage Media.

Lowenthal shows copious amounts of communication between social media companies and government organizations and journalists to hand over access and control. The government presented frameworks for access and was granted that access by Facebook, Google, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Verizon, and of course Twitter. The emails show executives happily coming up with “industry-wide” policies for an open door for government reach.

How bad is it?

According to Lowenthal, “tech companies not only collaborate on content, they gather regularly for “private sector engagement” with the FBI, DOD, DHS, House and Senate Intel Committees, and others.” The files show an “alliance of academics, journalists, intelligence operates, military personnel, government bureaucrats, NGO workers and more,” all working together cartel-style.  Source

The government provides these companies with suggestions on how to give certain accounts “state media” labels, which in turn discredits accounts that are guilty of wrong think. This happened to former Scottish politician George Galloway whose account was labeled “Russian state media” because he is critical of the war. The label has since been removed, but how did it get there in the first place??

This round of Twitter Files also shows government and NGOs alike trying to figure out how to reach into encrypted communication through programs such as WhatsApp and Signal in order to hunt down “problematic content.” That initiative is code named Junkipedia. 

Through these files we can see that the lines between the government, the media and social media are non-existent. Thus the censorship industrial complex and it’s a hungry beast. Source

DHS staff such as Matt Masterson became fellows at the Stanford Internet Observatory to work on the Virality Project’s censorship of “true stories of vaccine side effects.”  The communication states that while these stories are not clearly mis or disinformation, they may be malinformation, for being exaggerated or misleading or true posts that could fuel hesitancy, such as individual countries banning vaccines.

Automated Controversy Detection & Center for an Informed Public (CIP) boast of their online monitoring capabilities and use a “pioneering algorithm that identifies opposing sentiment on a topic as well as quantifies the amount of disagreement.”  Source

Anti-disinformation conferences teem with Beltway journalists – the same names from The Post, Atlantic, NBC, over and over – but these proto-censorship workshops are often off the record, like defense or intel confabs, making reporters participants.  So, the people accusing others of “disinformation” RUN the biggest disinformation campaigns themselves.  Source  Since Jan. 2020, the CIP has collected more than 11 BILLION tweets and more than 100 terabytes of social media data as part of its rapid-response mis-and disinformation research activities.

The scale of funding is beyond shocking.  Governments and foundations pour millions, with one company alone reportedly winning $979 million from the Pentagon – into “anti-disinformation” firms and NGOs.

Now we know why the Pentagon failed its 5th annual audit in a row.

The RHOBH family has been open about their journey with Lyme disease over the years.

Bella Hadid recently shared an update on her health and journey with Lyme Disease, which she was diagnosed with several years ago. The model, along with her mom, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid, and her brother, Anwar Hadid, have all also been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

After opening up about a tooth infection, Bella noted that “this made my Lyme flare up, which means the Lyme is attacking the places that are suffering ie tooth, jaw, guy, brain, spine, bones etc oh, and the entire nervous system,” according to E! News. She continued, “Any minor trauma to the body whether it’s physically or mentally can cause Lyme to flare up. My jaw has been so inflamed, and would flare up/inflame randomly when I was/am overly stressed or over working. Some days it’s okay! And some days are difficult. But when my jaw/nerves started to hurt on an aggressive level; it just went 0-100. And now we’re here!”  (See link for article)
