Subject: Topic for discussion at our next meeting (Dr. Martin’s Presentation)

I would like to add the following letter of concern as a topic for discussion at our next meeting and have copied all committee members so they can review the document prior to the meeting.

Please reserve any discussion of these documents until our next scheduled Zoom meeting.

To members of the Lyme Study Commission,

Dear Rep Marsh,
I have some serious concerns regarding Dr. Martin’s informative presentation last Friday.

In reference to the 2013 C6 Elisa paper from Dr. Wormser, [1] this test is not widely used here in the US for the detection of Borrelia infections. When performing a search on the Quest Diagnostics website, I could not find the C6 Elisa listed as an option for Lyme disease.

Furthermore, test performance from that 2013 Wormser paper and 2018 pegalajar-jurado et al publication [2] was derived through the use of serum samples from patients who had the positive marker for Lyme; erythema migrans (bulls-eye rash) so testing results for the newer serology were positive because they were already positive. There was no performance data for those who never developed the bulls-eye rash. Once again this is misleading to the reader and highly inaccurate in real-world application. (what front line physicians are experiencing) Maine Department of Health is reporting incidence of rash at only 50%. So, half of the patient population is not being represented in these studies. That is a serious concern.

To my knowledge, the Modified Two-Tiered Testing Algorithm (MTTTA) is not in use outside of Dr. Martin’s lab and irrelevant to our study commission at this time so any performance numbers offered by Dr. Martin are meaningless. Until such time that these newer tests are fully implemented (if ever) performance characteristics should not be acknowledged or posted in the minutes of the Lyme Study Commission.

Although current testing methods are evolving, we are still using the conventional WCS ELISA–immunoblot-based 2-tier testing algorithm. Dr. Durand (ILADS physician) and I have provided documentation supporting the fact that current serology is no better than a coin toss and this fact must be shared with the public along with the fact that humans do not produce antibodies for 4-6 weeks after a tick bite.

Here are the missing disclaimers:

1. “Health-care providers are reminded that a diagnosis of Lyme disease should be made after evaluation of a patient’s clinical presentation and risk for exposure to infected ticks, and, if indicated, after the use of validated laboratory tests.

2. “This surveillance case definition (two of three IgM and Five of ten IgG bands) was developed for national reporting of Lyme disease; it is not intended to be used in clinical diagnosis”

Respectfully submitted,

Carl Tuttle
Hudson, NH

There has been a concerted effort by ‘authoritie’s against direct testing.

The simple reason for this is our public health ‘authorities’ have patents on Lyme testing.

They also want us to take their controversial Lyme vaccines which would only work if Lyme disease does not cause chronic illness – hence the denial of persistent infection.  Our public authorities also have conflicts of interests regarding these vaccines.

The CDC is not to be trusted at all.

We need to stop working with these agencies and raising money for their flawed, biased science that continues to abuse and neglect sick patients.

ATLANTA — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) is an advertising agency for pharmaceutical companies. That may come off as some grandiose pronouncement meant to gather clicks and attention. But the agency does what it is supposed to do – promote and advance the interests of its stakeholders.

There is nothing impartial, objective or neutral about the CDC and its sister agency, the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”). Doctors and scientists who have dedicated their entire existences to medicine and saving lives are being decertified, censored and discredited by the CDC for presenting peer-reviewed evidence that is contrary to the COVID-19 agenda. Media that do not tow the doomsday COVID narrative are also censored. Search “The COVID Blog” and “COVID Legal USA” without quotes in any search engine besides Google. We come up first or second. Now do Google. The censorship is blatant and obvious.

COVID Legal USA is working towards getting the COVID-19 propaganda machine in federal court. The only way to break through this well-coordinated propaganda machine is with rules of evidence and rules of procedures. The CDC is the propaganda arm of this entire agenda. So we’ve decided to attempt litigating these matters (mandatory shots, faulty COVID-19 testing and statistics, non-emergency authorizations, etc.) in a court of law. It’s a tall task. But we already have several causes of action to bring colorable claims against the CDC.

We’ll be working on it for several months before action is commenced. We also understand that facts are now “conspiracy theory” to mainstream media, social media and the CDC. Regardless, here is what the public needs to know right now.  (See link for article)

The CDC needs to be eliminated.  Period.  It is dangerous.

The article does a great job articulating the many problems with the CDC.

Highlights:

  • Established as a branch of the U.S. Public health Service in 1946, this same U.S. Public Health Service is most infamous for funding the Tuskegee Experiments that deliberately left black Americans with syphilis untreated from 1932 to 1972. Dr. John Cutler, a U.S. Public Health Services scientist who was involved with the Tuskegee Experiments, was also responsible for deliberately infecting 696 Guatemalans with syphilis to observe them.”
  • This Public Health Service has grown into 11 devisions, two of which are the CDC and the NIH.
  • The article states that due to passage of a bill in 1992, allowing private funding through an “independent nonprofit,” it can no longer exist under the guise of neutral government agency. It also receives billions in tax dollars every year.
  • The CDC continues to try and separate itself from the CDC Foundation – essentially a “tax-free slush fund, wasting tax dollars.” The agency’s 2019 IRS Form 990 says the CDC Foundation received $252 million this way. That’s on top of the billions in tax dollars. The CDC’s operating budget has averaged about $7.2 billion per year since 2016. It’s budget was $10 billion in 2008 before Congressional investigations found that the agency wastes millions and spends lavishly.  For example, It spent:
    • $106 million on a visitor center
    • $5.1 million on audio-video integrations
    • $18 million on a video production studio
    • $1.7 million to “fact-check”television shows like “ER,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “House”
    • The CDC spent its AIDS and HIV Prevention fund in 2007 on erotic writing, a drag queen contest, and a San Francisco workshop called “how to flirt with greater finesse.”
  • The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has given $2.3 million so far to the CDC in 2021. You can see all Gates to CDC contributions here, and only the United States government gives more to the World Health Organization than the Gates Foundation. Thus Gates is essentially orchestrating (and funding) this entire COVID agenda.
  • The CDC Foundation’s other donors come from pharmaceutical companies and big tech firms such as Bayer, Facebook, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck. They sell drugs and don’t care about public health. These relationships are incestuous – for example, former CDC chief Julie Gerberding left her position at the CDC to become President of Merck’s vaccine division.
  • While the bought-out media dismiss Microsoft’s body activity data apparatus, the patent documents are public for anyone to see.
  • There is peer-reviewed evidence that the agency grossly inflates COVID-19 deaths by upwards of 90%. It only loosened its arbitrary six-feet “social distancing” rule to three feet in schools after numerous complaints
  • The CDC is listed on the Dun and Bradstreet corporate directory.
All of this of course is completely separate from the mishandling of Lyme disease, which many claim is a Tuskagee experiment #2.
  • There is an ongoing investigation into ticks being weaponized
  • Lyme advocate Carl Tuttle has called for a Congressional investigation of the CDC, IDSA, and ALDF
  • A federal lawsuit filed by a group of Lyme patients against the IDSA, six authors of the IDSA Lyme treatment guidelines, and the insurance companies have settled out of court
  • The CDC has been accused of having clandestine meetings with the IDSA and only supports the seriously flawed IDSA Lyme Treatment guidelines
  • A pathologist has accused the CDC of violating an antitrust law by suppressing a direct testing method to diagnose Lyme disease and is suing for $57 million
On top of all of this, researchers within the CDC have formed a group to expose agency corruption.
The mishandling of COVID has caused many to call for a CDC investigation.  (Many other links within on its sordid history.)

The question we must ask ourselves is WHY do we still work with these corrupt groups, and raise money for their corrupt and biased research?  There needs to be a CDC/IDSA/NIH walk-away movement.  We need to stop enabling them.

Supreme Court Overturns Wisconsin Governor Evers’ Emergency Orders

Supreme Court Overturns Wisconsin Governor Evers’ Emergency Orders

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled to overturn Governor Evers’ multiple emergency orders, including the mask mandate. The oral arguments were held in November and today the Court ruled with a 4-3 vote. The Court agreed with the Wisconsin statutes that a governor cannot extend a public health emergency order beyond 60 days without the Legislature’s consent. You may read the opinion here. The statewide mask mandate has ended but local municipalities still have the option to enforce their own mandates.

Important excerpts:

The question in this case is not whether the Governor acted wisely; it is whether he acted lawfully. We conclude he did not.

¶2 Wisconsin Stat. § 323.10 specifies that no state of emergency may last longer than 60 days unless it “is extended by joint resolution of the legislature,” and that the legislature may cut short a state of emergency by joint resolution.

NPMA Emphasizes Tick Prevention Amidst New CDC Lyme Disease Estimates

NPMA Emphasizes Tick Prevention Amidst New CDC Lyme Disease Estimates

The National Pest Management Association shares everything the public should know to guard against the serious tickborne disease

According to new research released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), human cases of tickborne Lyme disease are more common in the U.S. than previously thought. Based on insurance records from 2010 to 2018, the CDC estimates that approximately 476,000 people were diagnosed with and treated for Lyme disease each year in the U.S., representing a staggering 44 percent increase compared to the previous annual estimate of about 329,000 people from 2005 to 2010. In the wake of this alarming uptick, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is reminding the public about the serious health threats posed by ticks and the safety precautions people should practice when spending time outdoors.

Blacklegged ticks, also known as deer ticks, are predominantly found in the Northeast region of the U.S.; however, human cases of Lyme disease, transmitted through the bite of infected blacklegged ticks, have been detected in all 50 states,” said Cindy Mannes, senior vice president of public affairs for the NPMA. “Proper tick prevention is crucial to our health and wellbeing, especially now as outdoor excursions like hikes have become the preferred socially-distanced activities amidst the ongoing pandemic.”

Although Lyme disease is treatable, it can easily be confused for other conditions and cases of the disease are vastly underreported. The CDC receives about 30,000 to 40,000 reported cases each year, much less than the 476,000 annual cases estimated in the agency’s recent report. Knowing the telltale signs of Lyme disease, such as a “bull’s-eye” rash that can appear in some cases, is essential to early detection and receiving proper care. However, the disease can present flu-like symptoms similar to those caused by the common cold or even COVID-19, so anyone experiencing these issues should alert their medical provider and be sure to note if they’ve recently been bitten by a tick.

“Lyme disease can cause a number of different symptoms, from fever and headaches to heart palpitations and brain inflammation,” explained Dr. Jorge Parada, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P., F.I.D.S.A., F.S.H.E.A., medical advisor for the National Pest Management Association. “In addition to aiding in Lyme disease diagnosis, regular tick checks can actually help prevent disease transmission in the first place. Lyme disease can be transmitted into a person’s bloodstream in as little as 36-48 hours after the initial tick bite, making prompt detection and proper tick removal key to disease prevention.”

While peak tick season typically takes place during the warmer months, these pests can still pose serious threats even when the weather outside is cold. According to the CDC’s National Syndromic Surveillance Program, emergency department visits for tick bites typically experience a secondary spike during October and November. To stay safe and tick-free, follow these year-round prevention methods:

  • Wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes
  • Wear insect repellent containing at least 20 percent DEET when outdoors
  • Inspect yourself, your family and pets for ticks after spending time outdoors

Wild animals such as deer can bring ticks onto personal property, where they can detach and hide amongst overgrown grass and vegetation. Regularly remove weeds and cut grass low to keep your yard tick-free, and contact a licensed pest control professional if you suspect or discover a tick infestation.

Ticks are already active.

Also, there are cases where transmission occurred much faster than the often quoted 36-48 hours, and minimum time has never been established.

Speaking of transmission, ticks aren’t the only thing you must be concerned with (although authorities want to squash this intel like a June Bug):
