Woman In UK Diagnosed With Rare Ebola-Like Disease That Has 40% Fatality Rate

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has confirmed a woman in the UK has been diagnosed with a rare Ebola-like disease called Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF).

The news was announced today, 25 March, after the patient was diagnosed at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

CCHF is a viral disease that is usually transmitted by ticks and livestock in countries where the disease is endemic, such as in all of Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East and in Asia. The principal carriers are Hyalomma ticks, which are not established in the UK.

The virus has never been detected in a tick here in the UK, the UKHSA explains. (See link for article)

  • The patient recently traveled to Central Asia.
  • A chief medical adviser states CCHF, usually spread by ticks, doesn’t spread easily between people and that overall risk is low.  (Experts also state Lyme/MSIDS is rare, isn’t persistent, isn’t a STD, and is easily cured as well so be careful who you believe)

LYME SCI: Lyme-carrying ticks in West differ from their Eastern cousins

In most of the United States, a tick called Ixodes scapularis carries Lyme disease. However, in the Western states, there’s a different culprit—Ixodes pacificus—also known as the Western blacklegged tick.

A recent review article provides new insight into the pathogens carried by and diseases caused by Ixodes pacificus. The behavior, habitat and pathogens transmitted by the Western blacklegged tick differ from its Eastern cousin.

Notably, the authors state, ”I. pacificus carry several pathogens of human significance, such as Borrelia burgdorferi, Bartonella, and Rickettsiales.” (McVicar et al, 2022)

The authors, from the University of Nevada, published their report in a special issue of journal Pathogens. The article is entitled “Current Research on Hard Tick-Borne Diseases.”

The reviewers do a fantastic job of describing the ecological diversity and complex nature of ticks found in the Western US.

In fact, there are up to 20 different species of Ixodes (hard bodied) ticks reported in California alone. However, Ixodes pacificus is the only known vector for Lyme disease along the West Coast.

The additional hard tick species endemic to the West include Ixodes spinipalpis, I. angustus, I. neotomae, and I. jellisoni. Although these ticks prefer to feed on rodents, both I. spinipalpis and I. agustus occasionally bite humans.

Habitat

As pictured below, the Western blacklegged tick is well established throughout most of California, the coastal regions of Oregon and Washington, and parts of southern Nevada, northern Arizona and western Utah.

Note: Counties classified as “established” are those where six or more I. pacificus of a single life stage or more than one life stage of the tick were collected in the county within any 12-month period.

The ideal habitat for I. pacificus is one that is sheltered from hot, dry summers. Research has shown nymphal I. pacificus numbers start to decline when temperatures exceed 73º F (23º C), and average daily humidity drops below 83 – 85%. Excessive heat between 90º – 104º F (32º – 40º C) begins to kill off ticks.

The preferred microclimate includes moist, shady areas provided by trees, shrubs, leaf litter or undergrowth. I. pacificus are often found amongst dense oak woodlands, but they can also be found near beaches, and on rocks and picnic tables.

The full range of the Western blacklegged tick extends from Baja California, Mexico, to British Columbia, Canada, but not all of those areas have been thoroughly studied. The process of “active tick surveillance” is quite labor-intensive, and requires funding often not provided to vector-control districts.

Another method of tracking ticks can be done by citizens finding and reporting ticks themselves. This “passive surveillance” technique, as the authors point out, can sometimes give a broader picture from counties that do not conduct active surveillance.

Ticks found where previously undetected

For example, a Northern Arizona University study funded by Bay Area Lyme Disease Foundation received over16,000 ticks from 49 states between 2016-2017. In that study, blacklegged ticks were found in 83 counties (in 24 states) where they had not previously been recorded. (Nieto et al, 2018)

Another recent study looked at crowdsourced images submitted to “TickSpotters” between 2014-2019.  The tick image submissions identified potentially nine new counties of occurrence for I. pacificus across five states including: Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Idaho. (Kopsco et al, 2021)

Lifecycle

The lifecycle of Ixodes pacificus ticks generally lasts three years, compared to the I. scapularis which has a two-year life span. During this time, they go through four life stages: egg, larva, nymph, and adult.

After the eggs hatch, the ticks must have a blood meal at every stage to survive.

Blacklegged ticks can feed on mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The ticks need a new host at each stage of their life. If the host is infected with a pathogen, any tick feeding on that animal will become infected as well.

Although rare, larval ticks may be infectious from birth as some tick-borne pathogens may be transmitted from the female tick to her eggs. This is called transovarial transmission.

Pathogens

The paper lists the pathogens and reservoir hosts associated with I. pacificus, accompanied by countless references. For those interested in full details, I recommend reading the review. This table recaps the authors’ second table, followed by a short recap of their findings. (McVicar et al, 2022)

Anaplasmosis

Anaplasmosis, also known as human granulocytic anaplasmosis (HGA), is caused by the Anaplasma phagocytophilum bacterium (previously known as Ehrlichia phagocytophila or Ehrlichia equi).

It belongs to a larger group of bacteria known as Rickettsia, which infect white blood cells. I. pacificus is a vector for anaplasmosis in the western US. The infection rate of nymphal and adult I. pacificus ticks is 1% and 10% respectively.

Babesiosis

Babesiosis is a disease caused by a malaria-like parasite called Babesia, which infects red blood cells.

As I recently wrote, North America is “ground zero” for Babesiosis, a disease that can be passed from mother to unborn child and through blood transfusions.

On the East Coast, I. scapularis is the vector for babesiosis. On the West Coast, I. pacificus is the predicted vector for babesiosis, but researchers have been unable to confirm this.

One study that collected ticks from multiple sites in California found 3% of I. pacificus ticks were infected with Babesia odocoilei. This is an emerging pathogen not listed on the CDC website as a cause of babesiosis.

The authors state, “Although there is substantive evidence that ixodid ticks on the west coast (i.e., Ixodes angustus, Ixodes pacificus, and Ixodes spinipalpis) are vectors of B. duncani, this has not been yet experimentally confirmed.”  (McVicar et al, 2022)

Bartonellosis

Bartonella is a bacterium carried by many types of human-biting arthropods including fleas, flies, lice, ticks, and chiggers. In one California study, 19% of ticks tested positive for Bartonella.

“Molecular analysis showed a variety of Bartonella strains, which were closely related to cattle Bartonella and several known human-pathogenic Bartonella species and subspecies: B. henselae, B. quintana, B. washoensis, and B. vinsonii subsp. berkhoffii, suggesting that I. pacificus adults could be a source for Bartonella infections in humans,” as stated by the authors. Ehrlichiosis

Ehrlichiosis is a term that describes several different bacterial diseases caused by a group of intracellular bacteria called Ehrlichia. These pathogens cause two groups of human infections, called human monocytic ehrlichiosis (HME) and human granulocytic ehrlichiosis (HGE.)

While the pathogens that cause HME and HGE are different, the symptoms of the disease are similar. Left untreated, both HME and HGE can be life-threatening.

I. pacificus ticks can carry both diseases. The average infection rate of HME and HGE in California’s I. pacificus ticks is 3.4% and 2.0% respectively.

Lyme disease

Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto (s.s.), a spirochete, causes Lyme disease in North America. The CDC estimates that 476,000 people contract Lyme every year in the US. That’s nearly 5 million cases in the past 10 years, making it the most important vector-borne disease in the nation.

There has been a great deal of research on Lyme disease in California, beginning with the pioneering work of Willy Burgdorfer, Bob Lane and Alan Barbour in the early 1980s.

On the west coast, in addition to Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto (s.s.), there are four additional Borrelia species within the B. burgdorferi sensu lato (s.l.) complex. These include B. americana, B. bissettiae, B. californensis, and B. lanei—the latter named after Bob Lane for his discovery.  However, B. burgdorferi s.s. is currently the only one of these recognized as causing Lyme disease.

Compare this to the eastern half of the country, with B. burgdorferi s.s. also causing Lyme disease, and only three additional species in the B. burgdorferi s.l complex: B. andersonii, B. kurtenbachii, and B. mayonii. (B. mayonii is also recognized as causing Lyme disease.)

Hard ticks can also carry one species of relapsing fever Borrelia—Borrelia miyamotoi. All other species of relapsing fever borreliosis are believed to be carried by soft ticks.

Several studies in and around the San Francisco Bay Area  have shown that the average infection rate of B. miyamotoi (5.1%) in I. pacificus ticks is higher than the rate of B. burgdorferi (1.3%). Although, depending on the location, infection rates for B. miyamotoi and B. burgdorferi can be as high as 17% and 6% respectively.

Co-infections

Co-infection with multiple pathogens is possible in animal hosts and ticks. Thus, a single tick bite can infect a human with more than one pathogen.

One study found that 14% of grey squirrels, a common host to I. pacificus ticks, were co-infected with B. burgdorferi and Anaplasma. Another study from Washington state found I. pacificus ticks co-infected with B. burgdorferi, B. miyamotoi. and Anaplasma.

In a more recent study, researchers tested ticks for up to five pathogens. In one area of California, infection rates were as high as 31%. (Salkeld et al, 2021)

While Lyme disease accounts for over 80% of all tick-borne cases in the U.S., spotted fever rickettsiosis, babesiosis, anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis have also seen an increase over the past four decades.

It’s important for researchers and clinicians to know which pathogens co-exist in all regions of the U.S., including the West coast.

Conclusion

As climate changes, tick ecology changes. The authors recommend, “To fully understand these systems, interdisciplinary teams with expertise in tick biology, tick genetics and genomics, computational biology, geography, meteorology, veterinary and human health, as well as vector-control districts and public health, need to work together.”  (McVicar et al, 2022)

A great deal of work has been carried out on ticks in California. However, surveillance and ecological research is lacking in the other Western states.

The climate change moniker is a ruse for a huge power grab in terms in money and control.

While the world was distracted by Will Smith, the internal elite met at the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai where World Economic Forum (WEF) head Klaus Schwab and ilk spoke of a “longer-term narrative” to make the world “more resilient, more inclusive, and more sustainable.”

The WGS spent considerable time discussing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which form the core of the Agenda 2030, (formerly Agenda 21) itself part of The Great Reset agenda, as well as topics like Blockchain, AI, 6G, and Human Meta-Cities, a rebranding of the so-called Smart Cities.

Within the video you learn that Agenda 2030 is about inventory & control of all resources of the world:
food, water, energy, land, production, education, construction, yes, even people. The plan will clear out rural areas and relocate people to large cities where people will be tightly controlled, monitored, and managed with intrusive technology.  It will enforce Communitarianism – ruled by governments and companies: where the needs of the community trump individual rights and freedoms (which we are already seeing with COVID).  Dissidents will be outcasts – which we’ve also already experienced with COVID injection apartheid.

No less than 14 out of 17 sustainable development goals SDGs include vaccination or immunization.
What does vaccination have to do with green economies?

Schwab’s “the 4th Industrial Revolution,” is the “digital panopticon of the future, where digital surveillance is omnipresent and humanity uses digital technology to alter our lives. Often associated with terms like the Internet of Things, the Internet of Bodies, the Internet of Humans, and the Internet of Senses, this world will be powered by 5G and 6G technology.”  (Please note many believe this technology is dangerous to the human body and remains untested for adverse effects)

The truly frightening discussion was titled: The Invisible Government: Eliminating Bureaucracy Through Technology: “What goes unsaid in the panel description is that making the government “invisible” will actually lead to a world of no accountability for government and politicians. In reality, the Technocrats imagine a world where the tyrannical technological systems are invisible and the average person has zero recourse for preventing exclusion or punishment based on their social credit score.”

While few argue that the climate changes, as it always has since the beginning of time, many climate experts defy the accepted narrative and state political games are being played to create policy. Further, according to Pat Michaels, former president of the American Association of State Climatologists, it has warmed up around 1 degree Celsius since 1900, and life expectancy has doubled. Climatologists have also debunked that “global warming” is making storms worse and that carbon dioxide is harmful.

What is very real; however, is the concerted effort to engineer the earth’s climate.  Dane Wigington states “geoengineering must be considered weather and biological warfare due to the endless list of catastrophic downstream impacts and effects.”  He also states: “That massive covert government programs have been playing “God” with the biosphere for well over 60 years, perhaps even longer. In recent years the scope and scale of these devastating weather modification programs has been ramped up so much that the entire climate system and biosphere is now hanging in the balance.”

The Chilling Reason They Won’t Declare the Pandemic Over?

Over the past two years, in the name of keeping everyone “safe” from infection, the globalists have justified unprecedented attacks on democracy, civil liberties and personal freedoms, including the right to choose your own medical treatment. Now, the WHO wants to make its pandemic leadership permanent, and to extend it into the health care systems of every nation.

The negotiations for this treaty began March 3, 2022.(1) As reported by The Pulse (video above):

“Coming off the back of the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization is proposing a new pandemic treaty they’re hoping will be accepted by enough member countries to become a reality by 2024.”

The pandemic treaty is a direct threat to a nation’s sovereignty to make decisions for itself and its citizens, and would erode democracy everywhere.

Treaty Threatens National Sovereignty

As noted by The Pulse, “there are a number of things in the treaty that the people of the world need to consider before going down this path.” In the featured video, The Pulse’s Joe Martino interviews Shabnam Palesa Mohamed, a member of the steering committee of the World Council for Health, who points out that the treaty gives the WHO:

“… an inordinate amount of power to make decisions in sovereign countries as to how people live and how they deal with pandemics, from lockdowns to mandates over treatment.”

In short, it would create a one-size-fits-all approach to disease, without regard for all the varying situations found in individual countries, and this is something we already know doesn’t work. The treaty is a direct threat to a nation’s sovereignty to make decisions for itself and its citizens, and would erode democracy everywhere.

At the same time, it would cost each member country millions of dollars to participate in this process. As explained by Mohamed, the treaty will need to go through a voting process at the World Health Assembly in 2023. They need a majority for it to pass and, if passed, all member countries will be bound by it.

The Treaty Is ‘Invalid and Unlawful’

Another concern raised by Mohamed is that many countries don’t even know about this treaty as of yet, and it’s possible that the WHO might try to push for earlier implementation than 2024 — all without public participation or input. “It is undemocratic, it is unconstitutional and therefore it makes the treaty invalid and unlawful,” she says.

And while comedic in nature, this video, is an accurate piece of investigative journalism, which reveals words about “The Great Reset” right out of the horse’s mouth.  It gives details of Klaus Schwab, chairman of the WEF, and describes the climate fear-mongering, as well as WEF’s partnership with investment firm BlackRock, which has infiltrated the government and is colluding in corporatism, where an unelected corporate elite dictates top down to the population.  Also featured are the harrowing words of Dr. Yuval Noah Harari, top adviser to Schwab and the WEF.  A noted transhumanist, he states that soon corporations and governments will be able to “systematically hack all the people.”  He calls this “intelligent design” not created by “some God above the clouds,” but “our intelligent design,” and the “intelligent design of our Clouds, the IBM Cloud, the Microsoft Cloud, these are the new driving forces of evolution.”

Lastly, Harari has given harrowing quotes:

“Today we have the technology to hack human beings on a massive scale.”

“In this time of crisis you have to follow science.”

“It’s often said you should never allow a good crisis to go to waste.”

“Surveillance…..people could look back in 100 years and identify the coronavirus epidemic as the moment when a new regime of surveillance took over, especially surveillance under the skin.”

Before you chalk this up to a “conspiracy” theory that could never happen, please see this article on Charles Lieber, aka the NanoTech King, involved in the Thousand Talent Plan who was accused of being a spy for the Chinese Community Party (CCP) and was arrested for 6 counts of tax evasion. While people are clamoring for Metaverse, there are those who want to trace and store everything, which is not only an invasion of privacy, but can be used against you.  This technology can also be hacked, allowing a third party access.

SUMMARY of the Pandemic Treaty article:

  • If passed, there’s no accountability due to diplomatic immunity if people are harmed by WHO policies
  • While focused on pandemics, there’s serious concerns it would be expanded to cover all areas of health turning the WHO into a global health dictatorship
  • The WHO recently removed the specificity of “mass casualties” from the definition of a pandemic which means a pandemic can be about any disease that occurs in multiple countries – or anything the WHO wants to label a pandemic
  • The WHO also recently changed the definition of “herd immunity” to only include “vaccines”, not natural immunity – rewriting hundreds of years of scientific understanding
  • WHO hopes to mandate “vaccine” passports and COVID shots worldwide and is already working on the creation of a global “vaccine” passport/digital identity program
  • The treaty would give the WHO power to censor health information globally – even more censorship than is currently being seen
  • “Build Back Better” is a slogan of The Great Reset and is intended to shift the financial system over to an all-digital centrally controlled currency system tied to a “vaccine” passport and/or digital identity system

  • While the world was distracted by Will Smith, the internal elite met at the World Government Summit in Dubai where WEF head Klaus Schwab and ilk spoke of a “longer-term narrative” to make the world “more resilient, more inclusive, and more sustainable“. Pippa Malgren, economist at the WGS states the world financial system is about to switch accounting systems to digital money (cashless)- not decentralized cryptos, but centralized central bank digital currency. She states we will need a digital constitution of human rights. Simply put, central banks will have complete control over your money and will be able to program it so that it can only be spent on certain things or in certain places. Posted two years ago, human-implantable cryptocurrency systemusing “quantum-dot tattoos” have been created by MIT & Rice University researchers after being approached by Bill Gates.  The patent states that “conditions set by the cryptocurrency system” can be awarded cryptocurrency to the user.   • Interesting side-note to the Rock/Smith distraction is the fact that the 2022 Oscars were sponsored by Pfizer, the company that just happens to have a new Alopecia drug coming out very soon, which I’m sure is purely coincidental. Seems everything today is “brought to you by Pfizer.”
    • Schwab’s “the 4th Industrial Revolution,” is the “digital panopticon of the future, where digital surveillance is omnipresent and humanity uses digital technology to alter our lives. Often associated with terms like the Internet of Things, the Internet of Bodies, the Internet of Humans, and the Internet of Senses, this world will be powered by5G and 6G technology.”  (Please note many believe this technology is dangerous to the human body)
    • Many spoke, including WHO Director Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus and Fred Kempe, president and CEO of the Athlantic Council, anchor for CNN, and former advisor to former president George W. Bush.
    • The WGS spent considerable time discussing theUnited Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which form the core of the Agenda 2030, itself part of The Great Reset agenda, as well as Blockchain, AI, 6G, and Human Meta-Cities, a rebranding of the so-called Smart Cities.
    • The truly frightening discussion was titled: The Invisible Government: Eliminating Bureaucracy Through Technology: “What goes unsaid in the panel description is that making the government “invisible” will actually lead to a world of no accountability for government and politicians. In reality, the Technocrats imagine a world where the tyrannical technological systems are invisible and the average person has zero recourse for preventing exclusion or punishment based on their social credit score.”
Hopefully it is plainly and abundantly clear what the desired goal of the Technocrats is, and that COVID merely opened the door to Pandora’s Box
The WHO pandemic treaty must be opposed by all or we will find ourselves living in “1984” with our personal and medical freedoms completely gone.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the U.S. government’s top expert on COVID-19, was privately urged by former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield to vigorously investigate both the lab-leak and natural origins theories of virus in early 2020, only to then exclude Redfield from discussions with world-renowned virologists and wage a PR campaign denouncing the lab-leak theory as a conspiracy theory, according to an investigative report.

The explosive report from Vanity Fair reveals new details of how Fauci and former National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins strongly pushed back against scientists who raised legitimate questions about the origins of the virus — questions that could implicate the NIH’s financial support for the non-governmental group EcoHealth Alliance and risky bat virus research in China.

By analyzing more than 100,000 internal EcoHealth documents, interviewing five former staff members, and speaking with 33 other sources, Vanity Fair’s Katherine Eban uncovered how EcoHealth Alliance operated in a world of “murky grant agreements, flimsy oversight, and the pursuit of government funds for scientific advancement, in part by pitching research of steeply escalating risk.”

Her report delves deep inside EcoHealth Alliance, showing how the group’s president, Peter Daszak, spent years wooing Fauci — at times literally at D.C. cocktail parties — to win federal support for gain-of-function studies at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab central to the lab-leak hypothesis of COVID-19’s origins. Fauci, in turn, worked with Daszak, Collins, and other top virologists to lead a well-documented campaign discrediting the lab-leak theory, all the while never being completely transparent about their potential conflicts of interest should the theory prove true.  (See link for article)

SUMMARY:

  • EcoHealth Alliance received a $3.7 million federal grant in 2014 to study a deadly new coronavirus from wild bats in China
  • EcoHealth partnered with the Wuhan Institute for Virology and gave them $600,000 in federal funds to collect virus samples from bats and analyze them
  • The 2020 COVID ‘pandemic’ was traced to Wuhan, China – where the lab is located
  • Early analysis suggests that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was 96.2% similar to a previously discovered bat coronavirus, and top virologists raised the possibility it was laboratory-engineered
  • Former CDC director, Dr. Robert Redfield, asked whether EcoHealth paid for gain-of-function (making viruses more deadly and infectious) research in Wuhan & whether Chinese scientists engineered the virus before it escaped the lab
  • Redfield was aware of a 2015 gain-of-function study funded by EcoHealth Alliance, carried out in Dr. Ralph Baric’s lab in the University of North Carolina’s lab, and published by a Wuhan lab scientist Dr. Zhengli Shi
    • The study showed it was possible to manipulate a SARS-like bat coronavirus so that it would infect human cells
  • Redfield brought his concerns to Fauci, the UK Wellcome Trust, and WHO
  • A FOIA request revealed Fauci emailed NIAID principal deputy director a copy of the 2015 study and told him he needed to speak to him, to keep his phone on, and that he would have tasks that must be done.
    • The NIAID director organized a secret conference call “in total confidence” with 11 top international virologists but omitted Redfield, the very person in charge of the leading the government’s response to the ‘pandemic’, who initially brought up the issue
    • Prior to the call some of the virologists had noted features of SARS-CoV-2 “(potentially) look engineered.”
    • After the call, these same virologists would condemn the lab-leak hypothesis and those who believed in it and published “The Proximal Origins of SARS-CoV-2,” in the journal Nature Medicine on March 17. Mainstream media seized on the statement, inaccurately referring to it as a “study” that purportedly debunked the lab-leak theory
  • Redfield states: “They made a decision, almost a P.R. decision, that they were going to push one point of view only” he told Vanity Fair. “They argued they did it in defense of science, but it was antithetical to science.”
  • Then, there was Peter Daszak’s own campaign to organize scientists to denounce the lab-leak theory as a “conspiracy” and his effusive praise for Fauci’s public comments asserting the same.
  • Fauci and Collins continue to play defense for Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance, in public and in private.
  • American scientist, Dr. Jesse Bloom discovered Chinese researchers appeared to have deleted data from a NIH virus sample database on early genomic sequences for COVID
  • When Bloom took this info to Fauci to review, he learned the NIH itself had deleted the data, at the request of Chinese researchers at the Wuhan institute
  • Collins organized a Zoom meeting to discuss all of this, but the meeting was “extremely contentious” and Bloom was told it would be unethical to analyze the deleted viral sequences since Chinese scientists wanted them deleted
  • Instead of giving scientific points to counter Bloom’s points, a shouting match ensued and one of the virologists stated he “needed security outside his house, and my preprint would fuel conspiratorial notions that China was hiding data and thereby lead to more criticism of scientists such as himself.” 
  • The icing on the cake came when a virologist who is a screener at the preprint server offered to delete Bloom’s preprint or revise it “in a way that would leave no record that this had been done”
  • Bloom responded that it would not be appropriate to secretly delete or alter the paper “given the contentious nature of the meeting.”
  • A NIH representative quibbles with the word “delete” and insists that they in fact “suppressed” the genetic sequences of the virus, kind of like when Walensky states they are “pivoting” language on what it means to be fully vaxxed. The NIH did not respond to congressional oversight requests or The Epoch Times FOIA request.  Only after The Epic Times sued to enforce its request did the institute release the redacted documents.   • “Discovering the origin of COVID-19 is vital to ensuring that no pandemic like it ever happens again. Yet, shortly after it began, the NIH bowed to the wishes of researchers in Wuhan to terminate public access to genetic sequences that could shed light on how it began,” said Jason Foster, founder and president of The Epic Times, in a statement when releasing the FOIA documents.

But that is the point, isn’t it?  The ‘powers that be’ have ZERO desire to ensure another pandemic like COVID ever happens again.  These pandemics are huge cash cows and give them unlimited power and control.

This account is disturbing. At the very least, it shows how Fauci, Collins, and the others strongly pushed back against any criticism of their preferred COVID-19 origins narrative, even dismissing legitimate questions raised by scientists earnestly seeking the truth. There is no scientific reason for silencing that debate. But as the NIH’s ties to EcoHealth Alliance and the potential conflicts of interest therein demonstrate, there were plenty of political reasons for doing so.
