Mid-Ohio Valley sees rise in Lyme Disease

PARKERSBURG — Despite summer being over, warm weather and ideal circumstances for ticks remain and it is important to understand the potential consequences of bites.

According to the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, lyme disease cases have been on the rise in the region.

Remember ticks are in many other places besides wooded and grassy areas. Migrating birds drop them virtually anywhere. Also remember that Lyme is just the ‘tip of the spear’ and numerous pathogens can be transmitted simultaneously in a singular tick bite.

Reports have come in from around the world announcing the unabated spread of ticks and Lyme/MSIDS yet virtually nothing has changed in Lyme-land. Doctors still utilize abysmal testing, are uneducated on tick-borne illness – misdiagnosing a majority of patients, utilize ineffective treatment, and abuse patients by not listening to them and labeling them hypochondriacs.

Veterinary nurse tells of long road to Lyme disease diagnosis

A veterinary nurse has told how her road to diagnosis for chronic Lyme disease took almost two years and 22 doctors, including consultant visits.

Siobhan Coleman, a native of Listowel, Co. Kerry, who has worked as a veterinary nurse for over 20 years, was finally diagnosed as having Lyme disease in 2017 after what she said were several medical misdiagnoses.

The former senior head nurse of two equine hospitals in Co. Kildare has been supported by her husband Eamonn in her battle to get a correct diagnosis after being severely neurologically affected. She is now passionate about creating awareness of Lyme disease and working for patient advocacy. (See link for article)

Siobhan states what so many patients have experienced:

“I was forced to become my own health advocate after several medical misdiagnoses. I don’t recall the distinct ‘bullseye rash’ despite being symptomatic of the disease,” Siobhan said.

Ireland also suffers with the same issues we all do:
  • the tests are abysmal
  • the reported numbers don’t accurately reflect reality
  • the majority of doctors are uneducated about tick-borne illness (despite it being around for over 40 years)

She, like so many, used a smaller CLIA-certified lab that specializes in tick borne illness, but that ultimately a clinical diagnosis is made based on symptoms.

Interestingly, these smaller labs have been vilified by the CDC and IDSA.  Could this be because these people have a financial conflict in that they own patents on the tests?  I appears so.

Milwaukee County medical examiner says state’s coronavirus death count too high

State includes deaths from other causes that also list COVID-19 among ‘other significant conditions’ on death certificate

Milwaukee County’s chief medical examiner says the state’s coronavirus death total includes more than 100 people who had COVID-19 but died primarily of other causes.

The difference is significant and possibly confusing.

As of Wednesday, the state reported 532 COVID-19 deaths in Milwaukee County, but the county’s COVID dashboard lists 428 — a difference of 104 deaths. (See link for article)

The confusion and fear-mongering continue – based on fallacies.

For more:  https://empowerwisconsin.org/is-evers-using-inflated-covid-numbers-to-restrict-liberty/  Excerpt:

The inflation problem goes back to the beginning of the pandemic.

It’s the comorbidity effect — the simultaneous presence of two chronic diseases. When serious health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease meet COVID-19, well, it can be like throwing gasoline on a fire.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean COVID is the primary cause of death.

As Wisconsin Spotlight reported in May, Milwaukee County Medical Examiners office data obtained by CRG Network (Citizens for Responsible Government) found that residents 65 and over made up 75 percent of 193 COVID-19-related deaths in Milwaukee County. All but four of the victims had at least one underlying health condition.

Underlying conditions included cancer, COPD, heart attacks, stroke, congestive heart failure. Many of the victims were obese, many morbidly obese. The No. 1 comorbidity among the deceased was high blood pressure; No. 2 was diabetes.

“Moreover, 78% of intensive care unit (ICU) admissions and 94% of deaths (where complete information on underlying conditions or risk factors was available) occurred in those with at least one underlying health condition,” the Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology reported in May.

DHS acknowledges that they’re dumping comorbidity deaths into the COVID-19 pot.

Physicians for Informed Consent Provides Key Information in Medical Board of California Hearing, Aims to Protect Patients at Risk of Vaccine Side Effects

Medical Exemptions to Vaccination, Recommended Due to Patient History and Genetics, Go on Trial

OAKLAND, CALIF. (PRWEB) OCTOBER 02, 2020

Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC), an educational nonprofit organization focused on delivering data on infectious diseases and vaccines, provided key information on physician best practices in the case between Kenneth Stoller, M.D., and the Medical Board of California (MBC) (Case No. 800-2017-034218). In July 2019, the MBC accused Dr. Stoller of gross negligence in recommending medical exemptions to vaccination for patients based on their genetic risk of suffering side effects from multiple vaccines mandated by the State of California for school attendance—a precaution that’s not recommended by conventional standards of care. Dr. Stoller’s attorney and author of Galileo’s Lawyer, Richard Jaffe, Esq., defended him based on Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code Section 2234.1, which legally protects California physicians who use alternative or complementary standards of care.

The MBC was represented by Deputy Attorney General, Lawrence Mercer, and its expert witness was Dean Blumberg, M.D., a pediatric infectious disease specialist. Kelly Sutton, M.D., a board-certified internist with training in pediatrics and functional medicine, was the expert witness for the defense. The Administrative Law Judge presiding was Juliet E. Cox. Judge Cox, in addition to earning her juris doctorate from UC Berkeley, also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology, and a Master of Science in Genetics, a fortuitous background as Dr. Stoller’s defense adduced much genetic information on individual and familial susceptibility to vaccine side effects.

In support of the existence of alternative standards of care for integrative physicians who make vaccine recommendations, Jaffe brought forth “Best Practices for California Physicians Providing Complementary Health Care Methods” by Greg Glaser, Esq., General Counsel for PIC and National Director of the Coalition for Informed Consent (CIC). PIC represents hundreds of doctors who make personalized risk/benefit assessments for their patients and alternative vaccine recommendations when indicated. Another key exhibit was the March 2019 document “Best Practices for Physicians Recommending a Medical Exemption to Vaccination” presented by the late Toni Bark, M.D., and Glaser at the PIC Workshop & Luncheon in Costa Mesa, California.

The hearing was conducted via videoconferencing between Sept. 21–24, 2020, with members of the public listening in via teleconferencing and Ann Leitz as court reporter. Judge Cox’s decision on the case is expected by January 2021.

“I expect that Dr. Ken Stoller will be exonerated, and that his medical exemption letters written under SB277 guidelines will be safeguarded,” said Glaser.

Many of you will recognize Dr. Stoller as he is a well-known Lyme literate doctor. This is an important case that very well could set a precedent regarding alternative vaccine recommendations.

Lyme/MSIDS patients and the doctors who dare treat them understand the importance of individualized care as each patient has wide and varied symptoms, medical histories, genetic make ups, and responses to treatments.

Anyone who advocates a “One Size Fits All” approach to the human body has serious flaws and holes in their logic.

Lyme/MSIDS patients are in a body-wide war of epic proportions with wide-spread systemic inflammation.  The last thing they need is an immune suppressing vaccine on top of it all.
