About Professor Cahill:

Professor Dolores Cahill has degree is in molecular genetics and her PhD is in immunology where she was using antibodies and making libraries to try and improve the outcomes in cancer. She also spent eight years in the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, where she led a group and developed technology that could look the specificity of antibodies and different diagnostic assays to diagnose autoimmune diseases. And, for example, with virus patients look at whether they were exposed to a virus or not.

Her team back in the 90s looked at published antibodies and found that a lot of what was published was not necessarily correct. They were involved in correcting a lot of published research. Her research was quite disruptive at the time, and she quickly got awards from the German Minister for science and then was on the German Advisory Science Council, advising funding agencies the BAE and AF and still does 20 years later, and on the Advisory Science Council here for the Strategy for Science Technology and Innovation (Ireland).

She was nominated to represent Ireland on the Scientific Committee for the Innovative Medicines Initiative in the European Union and since 2016 became vice chair. She was also involved in developing the meningitis B vaccine for Africa. She also worked in a class 4 bio lab. She has been working with a doctor who is advising the White House particularly on protocols for prevention and treatment such as hydroxychloroquine.

Cahill is looking at legal action against the Irish government for making policy that is harming people.  She states that there should be a public debate which includes not only those making policy but scientists who thinks like she does to hold authorities accountable.  We should do the same.

Most importantly she states we should make sure that this NEVER happens again.  I concur.  Get a copy of “Virus Mania,” and you will see that there has been a historical trend which rose to a fever-pitch draconian policy with COVID-19, but it’s been done many times before. Our grandmas were right: A virus just runs its course.

The coerced economic “shutdowns” – enforced with fines, arrests, and revoked business licenses – are not the natural outgrowth of a pandemic. They are the result of policy decisions taken by politicians who have suspended constitutional institutions and legal recognition of basic human rights. These politicians have instead imposed a new form of central planning based on an unproven, theoretical set of ideas about police-enforced “social distancing.”

Suspending the rule of law and civil rights will have enormous consequences in terms of human life counted in suicides, drug overdoses, and other grave health problems resulting from unemployment, denial of “elective” medical care, and social isolation. (See link for article)

Again, only the sick should be quarantined, which makes logical sense and has historical precedent.

In a new study titled “Full Lockdown Policies in Western Europe Countries Have No Evident Impacts on the COVID-19 Epidemic,” author Thomas Meunier writes, “total deaths numbers using pre-lockdown trends suggest that no lives were saved by this strategy, in comparison with pre-lockdown, less restrictive, social distancing policies.”

The article points out that nearly 75 percent of COVID deaths occur in patients over sixty-five years of age, of which 90% have other conditions.

But it’s important to insert here that there were huge flaws in how they counted COVID deaths which vastly inflated the death count.

A 2025 update shows that nearly half of COVID deaths were not due to COVID at all!

The article goes through numerous studies all coming to the same conclusion. Similarly to the history of vaccines, lockdown areas had already experienced a downward trend in deaths before these effects could be seen or showed the same trend as the previous year.  Similar to vaccine proponents taking credit for trends already occurring before vaccines were given, lock-down proponents are taking credit for trends already observed before lockdowns were enforced.

The author of the article gives us a reminder that is helpful for Lyme patients as well:

With economic output crashing worldwide and unemployment soaring to Great Depression levels, governments are already looking for a way out. Don’t expect to hear any mea culpas from politicians.

Saying they got it wrong just isn’t in the cards for politicians.

Canada needs a hospital capacity-based approach to guide local lifting and reintroduction of restrictive measures as necessary

The past two months have shown that with major sacrifices, the community transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus could be slowed down. In Canada, we can rightfully say that we were able to “flatten the curve” to avert a northern Italy or New York City scenario.  Now we face the unintended consequences: delays in medical care for non-COVID-19 patients, educational impacts, the looming pandemic of mental-health issues, and massive economic repercussions.  Widespread restrictions certainly cannot be sustained until an effective and safe vaccine is widely available, which may not occur for years, if ever.  And the virus is unlikely to disappear from Canada or the world any time soon.  (See link for article)

The first question that comes to mind is why would we want community transmission to slow down? It’s long been known and accepted that viruses run their course. Why not just get it over with? The more people exposed to a virus, the quicker herd immunity is reached. Many epidemiologists are stating that “flattening the curve” only extends it.  For sure, the elderly and infirm should protect themselves, but the more healthy people exposed, the better.

Please remember that the reason for the initial measures taken were to protect hospitals from becoming overloaded – which never happened anywhere.  NY had a slight increase.  For the most part, hospitals are abandoned and medical workers are being laid off. https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2020/05/22/more-ca-doctors-opposing-covid-19-narrative/

Epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski, points out the CDC director, Dr. Redfield, presented data which should have had people jumping to their feet. There were 3 spikes in the 2019-2020 flu season:

  • late December (influenza B)
  • late January (influenza A)
  • early March (COVID-19)

For this last peak to happen patients had to go through a 7 day incubation period and then have symptoms. Then in early April (4 weeks later) infections were already down. Doubts have been raised over a much-lauded Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine which experts say could fail to prevent individuals catching the virus, after trial results emerged.

The government has promised to invest £20 million ($24m) to support teams at Oxford University engaged in the global race to find a vaccine.

However, following the publication of detailed trial results last week, it was found that the vaccine was unable to prevent monkeys from catching the COVID-19 virus.  (See Link for Article)

The Facts:

  • While more and more places roll out mandatory mask policies the facts suggest that they may not be providing us with the protection that we think they are.
  • Reflect On:What’s your stance on mask wearing in public places? Have you done the research on both sides to come to an informed rather than fear-based decision?

Initially I respected the call by my local Governor in Connecticut to protect our fellow citizens. Deep down I thought it was a little foolish to mandate masks, but love all people and thought I would wear one to help others feel safer. Then, I started digging a little further into the scientific literature. I have discovered that masks are neither safe nor effective. So, as schools prepare to create policies for children returning to school in the fall, we must keep these things in mind.  (See link for article)

This is an important topic that needs to be discussed.  Policy is being set forcing people into wearing face-masks – in essence civil liberties are being taken away and coercion is taking place.  You have every right to question policy that infringes upon your rights.

People laboring outdoors, lifting heavy things and working hard are wearing masks. Servers at restaurants are wearing masks while they do physical labor for hours at a time. Impeding air flow while doing physical labor is unwise.  Interestingly, none of the people in the restaurant I was in had masks on – just the employees doing all the work!  

I’ve never had an issue with those who choose to wear a mask.  That is their civil liberties at work.  What I do have an issue with is bullying from those who feel they have the higher ground and draconian policy infringing upon individual freedoms of health people just going about their business.

Surgeons and medical people wear masks for obvious reasons.  Those working with chemicals, dust, and other things that hurt the lungs wears masks. But, there is no historical precedent for the healthy population to wear masks, and there are good, scientific reasons for this.
