Health officials issue warning as dangerous disease reaches ‘endemic levels’: ‘It’s not if you’re going to get it, it’s when’

A region in West Virginia is experiencing “endemic levels” of Lyme disease. It’s a clear example of how warming global temperatures are transforming some regions into breeding grounds for diseases.
What’s happening?
Ohio County — which has a population of about 40,000 — is experiencing an alarming number of Lyme disease cases. As of mid-September, there were almost 300 reported cases. Health officials warn the illness is now so widespread that cases are no longer investigated but simply recorded.
“It’s not if you’re going to get it, it’s when you’re going to get it,” Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department Administrator Howard Gamble told local news affiliate WTOV 9.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection transmitted to humans through the bite of infected ticks. It can cause fever, fatigue, joint pain, and a characteristic “bull’s-eye” rash. If left untreated, Lyme may lead to serious complications affecting the heart, joints, and nervous system.
Ohio County officials attribute the surge to unstable environmental conditions and human proximity to animal habitats that support tick populations. And those factors can be directly tied to rising global temperatures.
Spring and summer are peak tick seasons — but health officials warn cases are not expected to decrease significantly in the fall. (See link for article)

Sadly, another article pushing the ‘climate change’ agenda which has been proven by independent research to be a mute point regarding ticks and disease proliferation, yet a lie is halfway around the world before the truth is still putting on its shoes.
Two researchers from Western Michigan University have proposed just that in a paper ominously titled “Beneficial Bloodsucking.” Published by the journal Bioethics in July, the paper argues that intentionally spreading alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) could be ethically defensible, and perhaps even necessary, because it reduces animal suffering and combats climate change. As the authors, Parker Crutchfield and Blake Hereth, put it:
“Because promoting tickborne AGS prevents something bad from happening, doesn’t violate anyone’s rights, and promotes virtuous action or character, it follows that promoting tickborne AGS is strongly pro tanto (‘to that extent’) morally obligatory.”
Really? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), AGS “is a serious, potentially life-threatening allergy,” affecting “as many as 450,000 people.”
“Whatever excuse they may concoct to justify it,” notes Cameron English, director of biosciences at the American Council on Science and Health (ACSH), “deliberately releasing ticks into the environment with the intention of making people sick is unethical because it interferes with the proper functioning of their bodies.” English adds that “Crutchfield and Hereth want to infect millions of people with AGS precisely because ‘it is extremely difficult for most human beings to … forego acting on their desire to eat meat.’”

Mainstream media coverage of Trump’s speech was characteristically shallow. ABC News quoted a “climate scientist” named Adelle Thomas.
For Adelle Thomas, a climate scientist who has published more than 40 studies and has a doctorate, climate change disasters are personal, too. A vice chair of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world’s top body on climate science, Thomas is from the Bahamas and said she experienced firsthand “the devastation of the climate disaster” when Hurricane Sandy hit the Caribbean and New York City, the city Trump was speaking from, in 2012.
Critical readers may wonder why Adelle Thomas would point to Sandy—a Category 3 hurricane—as evidence of human induced “climate change.”
The most destructive hurricane in recorded history was the Great Hurricane of 1780, a Category 5 hurricane that struck Barbados, causing massive damage to the entire island. Based on observations recorded at the time—including pieces of straw driven deep into tree trunks—the hurricane is estimated to have produced 200 mph wind. The Great Hurricane also struck other islands in the Lesser Antilles, is considered the deadliest in Atlantic history, with total fatalities possibly reaching over 22,000.
The Great Hurricane of 1780 struck earth’s population was about 780 million, before most of humanity industrialized.

I confess I have not listened to the entire podcast but from the notes, I’m thankful this entomologist is also blaming bird migration for tick and disease proliferation and not the accepted narrative of ‘climate change,’ which is based upon corrupt data, and which has been proven by independent research to be a mute point on these issues. Further, more and more experts are squashing the ‘climate change’ agenda.
Last week, the BBC reminded us that we have just three years left to drastically reduce all CO2 emissions, or we risk crossing the dreaded 1.5°C warming limit set by the Paris Agreement. A persistent feature of the degreed managerial class is their arrogant refusal to learn from their past flawed predictions. Dire warnings of climate catastrophe have shaped global policy, media narratives, and public perception, resulting in the waste of hundreds of billions of dollars on technology that does not work. Predictions by climate ‘experts’ of submerged cities, the end of snow, vanishing ice caps, and dead coral formations never materialize.
Thinking that highly credentialed Ivy League professors would use science and math to destroy the man-made climate change narrative was not plausible a year ago. Yet, in this new cultural zeitgeist created after the implosion of the Democratic Party, the impossible is now possible.

Lastly, researchers are by trade myopic. They rarely look at the big picture and reality is far different than a test-tube. Sadly, climate research is rife with this myopia.
For instance, a groundbreaking study from the University of Nebraska reveals that cows are actually carbon negative and that they produce MORE oxygen than the methane and carbon they emit. The pastures where they graze can capture more emissions than what the cattle produce & also offset methane.] You have to look at all the pertinent variables, not just a singular entity.
Similarly to the deadly mRNA clot shots, it doesn’t appear to matter how many scientific papers come out or how many experts speak out – the narrative continues on unabated.
