Updates made to the DEC on hemorrhagic disease to deer

Bill Conners
Outdoors

It was just last week that I raised an alarm about Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHD) in our whitetail deer. At that time, it was “the other guy’s” problem because it had only been reported in counties to the south and west of us here in Dutchess. The situation has since changed.

This weekend I took a call from a hunter who informed me he was watching a deer that was drooling or foaming at the mouth and seemed very unconcerned about its surroundings. At that moment, it was standing in the middle on the road in front of his truck.  (See link for article)

Reports of positive deer in VA, WV, and OH with suspect cases reported in NJ. PA Department of Agriculture has confirmed EHD in a deer from a captive facility in Crawford County in the NW region.

EHD was first confirmed in 2007.  Outbreaks occur when biting flies or midges are prolific in late summer and early fall. Midges prefer mud for a breeding habitat, and deer outbreaks occur when they congregate in these wet, muddy areas during the dry season.  Thankfully a hard frost kills the flies, killing the virus with it.

Symptoms in deer:

  • fever
  • hemorrhage in muscle or organs
  • swelling of the head, neck, tongue and lips
  • lameness
  • dehydration

There are no treatments or prevention methods, but the dead deer do not serve as a source of infection for other animals.  The article states while the illness is rare in the North, outbreaks occur.

The author states:

Although there is no evidence that humans can contract the disease through midge bites or by consuming venison that has been infected with EHD, my personal advice is to pass up any opportunity to harvest and consume any animals showing signs of sickness.

He also recommends contacting your state department if you encounter sick or dead deer, particularly if there is more than one deer in an area or if carcasses are found near water.

EHD with Tom Cooley and the DNR Wildlife Disease Lab at MSU.

Autopsy results shows fluid accumulation found under the skin, around the muscles, and deposits of blood in the chest cavity, stomach, intestines, and hemorrhaging.

While he states humans can eat this infected meat, I would err on the side of caution.

LYME DISEASE VACCINE FOR HUMANS: WOULD YOU TRUST IT?

Lyme disease vaccine for humans being given to male patient

It has been 18 years since GlaxoSmithKlein pulled its preventative Lyme disease vaccine for humans, known as LYMErix, from the market. Now, a new vaccine is currently in Stage 2 clinical trials. This vaccine is also derived, in part, from the same OspA bacterial protein found in LYMErix. This begs the question: Will a new Lyme disease vaccine succeed or suffer the same fate as LYMErix?

LYMErix was reportedly effective at preventing a Lyme disease rash. But the vaccine was only 50% effective at preventing other manifestations of Lyme disease, according to the LYMErix package insert. LYMErix was voluntarily removed from the market due to low demand.

In a survey of 1,015 adults in the U.S., author Matt Motta¹ addresses the question of whether growing concern over climate change and the spread of tick-borne illnesses could increase public acceptance and use of a new Lyme disease vaccine for humans.

Survey respondents were asked, “how likely they are to request to be vaccinated when a Lyme vaccine becomes available for public use?”

The results indicated that “climate change concern is positively and significantly (B = 1.36, p < 0.01) associated with increased vaccination intentions,” the author writes.

Not surprisingly, survey findings showed, “Individuals who live in the Northeast, where Lyme is most prevalent, are more likely to intend to vaccinate (B = 1.35, p < 0.01), while people who place less trust in scientific authorities like the CDC are less likely to do so (B = À1.81, p < 0.01).”

Survey results, however, don’t guarantee the new Lyme disease vaccine for humans will be embraced by the public, writes Mott.

He describes several reasons why LYMErix was removed from the market:

“Low demand for LYMErix may have arisen from several factors, including its cost and the fact that it must be administered in two or three doses to reach high levels of effectiveness.”

“Misinformation about the vaccine’s safety – including the scientifically disputed claim that it can have adverse autoimmune effects – have also been linked to the vaccine being discontinued.”

Another great example of important research tagged with the unimportant moniker ‘climate change’ regarding the spread of ticks and the diseases they transmit.  For the millionth time:  https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2018/11/07/ticks-on-the-move-due-to-migrating-birds-and-photoperiod-not-climate-change/

According to tick researcher John Scott, TICKS ARE IMPERVIOUS TO WEATHER.

Please spread the word and don’t be duped by another money grab.

Please note the continuing emphasis on clearance of the rash, which does NOT equate to clearance of a systemic infection, so while the vaccine appears to clear the rash, (which it often does of its own accord anyway) it is only 50% effective against other manifestations of Lyme disease.  My guess is they also did not study these patients for long enough to determine if they developed other manifestations.

Regarding Lymerix:   https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2018/01/28/the-secret-x-files-the-untold-history-of-the-lymerix-vaccine/

Excerpt:

Quotes from the patients affected by the LYMErix VACCINE:

“…..Smithkline should not be able to destroy people’s lives as they have destroyed mine …”

“… As of May 8, 2000 there were 467 adverse reactions reported to VAERS, and of them 144 had complained of some sort of joint pain. Please do not let this vaccine hurt anymore people. I know SmithKline is trying to get it approved for children, PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM HURT ANYMORE KIDS…”

“….. The FDA let them put this on the market without fully testing it. The longer that this is left on the market, the more people are going to get hurt. Please stop this madness and take it off the market…”

“….. No one else should ever suffer such profound life changes through the administration of a “safe” vaccine. He would have been far better off to get Lyme Disease than to be incapacitated by something we counted on to protect his health!…”

“….Please stop this vaccine from wrecking more lives! !Respectfully submitted…”

Dr. Lapenta also lists 13 patient stories of adverse reactions due to Lymerix that will curl your hair.

Further, this astute article reveals OZ behind the curtain.  A shady meeting at Dearborn, Michigan changed Lyme testing criteria so they could make their lucrative, adverse reaction riddled vaccine. Due to this, the sickest patients no longer meet the standard:   https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2020/02/10/the-bitter-feud-over-lymerix/

So in answer to Dr. Cameron’s question: “Would you trust a Lyme vaccine?”, the answer isn’t just a “No,” it’s a “Hell No”.

I’m with Weiler:  https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2020/09/01/it-is-time-to-reboot-public-health-time-for-a-cdc-niaid-fda-walk-away-movement/

The issue regarding vaccines is quite similar to an issue surrounding COVID-19.  Unfortunately due to fear, many put so much emphasis on ONE issue they remain blind to 1,000 others.  For example, vaccines have injured, maimed and actually killed people.  Should fear of disease outweigh these people and their negative outcomes, which includes death, in the annuls of history?  Regarding COVID-19, should fear of a virus negate the suffering of people with other issues that are not COVID-19?

We are being told daily that vaccines and COVID-19 trump all other issues.  I flat-out disagree.

This lie is a form of bullying.

More CDC ‘Senior Moments’

According to the WaPo, new CDC guidelines on how COVID-19 is spread was quietly changed on its website overnight.  Currently, all mention of airborne spread has been deleted:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/09/21/cdc-covid-aerosols-airborne-guidelines/

In a short disclaimer on its website Monday, the CDC said the changes had been “posted in error.”

According to Dr. Mercola’s website:  https://blogs.mercola.com/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2020/09/22/cdc-says-it-erred-in-posting-new-information-on-how-sarscov2-is-spread.

Friday, the changes noted that the virus is airborne and that particles in the air could spread it. Monday, that information was gone — and had even been erased from the internet archive Wayback — and the site reflected the same information that had been before, that it is spread mainly between people in close contact when they cough, sneeze or talk.

CNN noticed the new changes in the guidelines Sunday, and was first to report on it, according to The Washington Post. The CDC “updated guidance on its website to say coronavirus can commonly spread ‘through respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols. Airborne viruses, including COVID-19, are among the most contagious and easily spread,’” CNN said.

When the changes and change-back caused a flurry of news reports and speculations of how a draft report came to be posted and why it was taken down, Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, tweeted that publishing what he called “scientifically valid information” and then pulling it down was “very likely a scandal.”

However, The New York Times said that “experts with knowledge of the incident said … the latest reversal appeared to be a genuine mistake in the agency’s scientific review process, rather than the result of political meddling … Still, the reversal prompted rebukes from even the CDC’s staunchest supporters. It’s not something that instills a lot of confidence, right? said Dr. Carlos del Rio, an infectious disease expert at Emory University. ‘It doesn’t help at all.’”

CDC Waffles Again. Now, ‘You Need a Test’

Asymptomatic people (without symptoms) who have been exposed to COVID-19 for at least 15 minute should be tested, the CDC said on Friday, in a reversal of its policy introduced in late August:  http://web.archive.org/web/20200917093652/https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/testing-overview.html

“DON’T DO IT, I SAY, WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME,” HE REPLIES. “NO HEALTHY PERSON SHOULD BE TESTED. IT MEANS NOTHING BUT IT CAN DESTROY YOUR LIFE, MAKE YOU ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE.”

Letter to the editor: Scott Atlas and lockdowns

By

Dear Editor,

In an open letter, 98 Stanford faculty members accuse their Stanford colleague and White House COVID-19 advisor Scott Atlas of “falsehoods and misrepresentations,” claiming that “many of his opinions and statements run counter to established science.” Surprisingly, the alleged falsehoods are not mentioned, making scientific discourse difficult.

Among other things, the letter advocates handwashing, which Atlas obviously agrees with. So, what are the disagreements?

While anyone can get infected, there is a thousand-fold difference in mortality risk between the old and young, and the risk to children is less than from annual influenza. Using an age-targeted strategy, Atlas wants to better protect high-risk individuals, while letting children and young adults live more normal lives. This contrasts with general age-wide lockdowns that protect low-risk students and young professionals working from home, while older higher-risk working-class people generate the inevitable herd immunity.

The open letter ignores collateral damage caused by lockdowns. Being a public health policy expert, it is natural and reassuring that Atlas also consider plummeting childhood vaccinations, postponed cancer screenings, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, deteriorating mental health and more house evictions, just to name a few.

Among experts on infectious disease outbreaks, many of us have long advocated for an age-targeted strategy, and I would be delighted to debate this with any of the 98 signatories. Supporters include professor Sunetra Gupta at Oxford University, the world’s preeminent infectious disease epidemiologist. Assuming no bias against women scientists of color, I urge Stanford faculty and students to read her thoughts.

Martin Kulldorff, professor, Harvard Medical School

I for one rejoiced the day Dr. Atlas stepped onboard the COVID train.  I thought, “Finally, a voice of reason in the madness.”  I knew retaliation against him would be swift and relentless, and I was right.  The minute there is ANY factual, logical good news about COVID, the opposition quickly and righteously finds a nit to counter with, even if it’s an imagined nit to keep the fear-mongering alive.  In this case, these supposed ‘experts’ finding fault with Atlas refrain from mentioning specifics but continue with the typical emotional diatribe based on beliefs and a narrative.

A DARPA-Funded Implantable Biochip To Detect COVID-19 Could Hit Markets By 2021

Authored by Raul Diego via MintPressNews.com,

The most significant scientific discovery since gravity has been hiding in plain sight for nearly a decade and its destructive potential to humanity is so enormous that the biggest war machine on the planet immediately deployed its vast resources to possess and control it, financing its research and development through agencies like the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and HHS’ BARDA.  (See link for article)

The private company created to market this technology, that allows for biological processes to be controlled remotely and opens the door to the potential manipulation of our biological responses and, ultimately, our entire existence, is called Profusa Inc and its operations are funded with millions from NIH and DARPA. In March, the company was quietly inserted into the crowded COVID-19 bazaar in March 2020, when it announced an injectable biochip for the detection of viral respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
