Experts Predict Summer 2021 Will Be a ‘Tick Time Bomb’—Here’s How to Stay Safe

“We are already seeing more ticks this season than last year.”

  • Experts predict summer 2021 will be a “tick time bomb.”
  • Due to a mild winter, most parts of the country are already seeing more ticks this season than last year, as the tiny insects thrive in humidity.
  • Here’s how to protect yourself from tick bites, which can lead to various illnesses including Lyme disease.

Every summer, we hear the same warning: It’s going to be a bad year for ticks. But entomologists (a.k.a. insect experts) say that 2021 could live up to that message. In fact, The Weather Channel even referred to this year as a “tick time bomb.”

Robert Lockwood, associate certified entomologist for Ehrlich Pest Control, says experts are already noticing a thriving tick population in 2021. “Due to the mild winters and climate change, we are already seeing more ticks this season than last year,” he says.

Why does a wet winter matter? Ticks thrive in humidity. As a result, “regions that experienced wetter and warmer winters will have higher tick populations this spring and summer,” says Ben Hottel, Ph.D., technical services manager for Orkin.  (See link for article)

    • Climate-change researchers overlooked and did not take into account established populations of I. scapularis found in the late 1960’s in the upper Midwest, as well as at Manitoba in 1991, in their climate change model maps. The faulty climate change maps are devoid of any ticks in those areas – yet experience shows otherwise.
    • Climate change models overlook the fact that deer ticks were established in northwestern Ontario, southern Manitoba and were already in central Canada prior to 1970. What they predict to happen in the future has already happened in Canada. Their oversight caused a skewed rate of tick expansion and a miscalculation of northward projected movement.
    • Warmer winters are in fact lethal to I. scapularis(black-legged) ticks. In fact, overwinter survival dropped to 33% when the snow melted. This has been substantiated by other researchers as well.
    • The climate change model actually reflects migratory flight not warmer futuristic temperatures.
    • What is important to tick expansion is photoperiod, which is innate and can not be altered by climate.  Black-legged ticks require 14 hours of daylight to molt. If ticks can’t molt, they can’t move on to their next life-cycle.

“The hypothesis that I. scapularis ticks will expand further north in the Prairie Provinces because of climate change is not only unscientific, but deceiving.”  John Scott, Independent tick researcher

**UPDATE Aug. 21, 2021**

Due to denial, suppression, and censorship of ivermectin by mainstream medicine, our corrupt public health ‘authorities’, and bought-out media, people are now forced to self-treat with ivermectin using animal medicine, causing a surge in poisonings.  (This type of thing happens in Lyme-land as well for the same reasons)

COVID Doctor: Big-Gov/Big-Pharma Suppression of Ivermectin Cost 500,000 Lives

Last month, renowned physician Dr. Peter McCullough lamented that thousands of lives have been lost because the medical establishment has refused to create an “official treatment protocol” for COVID-19. Now another doctor is expressing similar sentiments, saying the World Health Organization (WHO) has purposely suppressed data on drug ivermectin’s effectiveness at treating the disease because the health authority is in Big Pharma’s pocket.

It’s a trespass that has cost a half million lives, contends critical-care physician Dr. Pierre Kory — and he calls the act “criminal.” As the World Tribune reports:

In a recent Zoom call, Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance outlined numerous details showing the World Health Organization (WHO) knowingly suppressed data on the effectiveness of ivermectin against the virus in order to benefit the vaccine interests of Big Pharma.

“It’s criminal,” Kory said. “It’s literally criminal.” The drug “could have saved half a million lives this year if it had been approved.”

The WHO, Kory contends, is simply taking part in the tactics of a time-worn “Disinformation Playbook.” The term was coined by the Union of Concerned Scientists 50 years ago to describe the strategies corporations have developed over decades to “attack science when it goes against their financial interests.”

According to the Tribune, this disinformation strategy has five parts:

1. The Fake – Conduct counterfeit science and try to pass it off as legitimate research.

2. The Blitz – Harass scientists who speak out with results reviews inconvenient for industry.

3. The Diversion – Manufacture uncertainty about science where little or none exists.

4. The Screen – Buy credibility through alliances with academia or professional societies.

5. The Fix – Manipulate government officials or processes to influence policy inappropriately.

“In the full Zoom call, since removed by YouTube but available on Bitchute , Kory describes how the five tactics have been deployed against the scientific findings on ivermectin,” the Tribune continues. “One example is the corruption of leading medical journals, whose editors refuse to allow ivermectin studies to advance to peer review. The most egregious institutional participant, however, is the WHO.”  (See link for article)

Please read this important article in full.  If you have the time, also watch the videos. The monkeys are rolling out of the barrel one by one and this information must be shared widely because it’s truly a wide-spread problem which doesn’t only concern the issue of COVID.

This article also explains why Lyme/MSIDS patients have suffered for over 40 years. The same exact 5 parts deployed in the disinformation playbook have been and are currently being used for tick-borne illness (TBIs).
Dr. Kory states 500,000 lives could have been saved and Dr. McCullough states 85% of the lives lost could have been saved.
The question begging to be asked is: I wonder how many lives could have been saved of those with tick-borne illness if they were allowed appropriate anti-microbial treatment that treated ALL the pathogens for the duration of time needed?

Interestingly, the article mentions USSR’s Lysenkoism, and that the problem is worsened “when there’s an unhealthy nexus between science and state.”  These same words have been uttered by microbiologist Sin Hang Lee due to the fact the CDC has suppressed  direct testing methods for Lyme disease.  He also filed a “Stay of Action” against the Pfizer COVID “vaccine,” due to the faulty PCR tests used in the trials.

Lee is far from alone.  Lyme advocate Carl Tuttle recently gave ample evidence that the CDC is lying to the public about Lyme disease.

If a silver lining exists to the COVID ‘pandemic’ it’s that blatant corruption is finally being acknowledged and exposed. Perhaps this awareness will help suffering patients understand the need to seek specialists that have separated themselves from this corrupt paradigm and truly desire to help patients.

For a great read from New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Capuzzo who detailed the manner in which Ivermectin came to be used to treat COVID-19, and simultaneously subjected to global censorship despite its incredibly high success rate at treating the virus:  https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/The-Drug-that-Cracked-Covid-by-Michael-Capuzzo.pdf

Ivermectin is “what the world desperately needs now,” according to Dr. Pierre Kory, one of the founding members of the FLCCC. But although the desperate need is present, governing health bodies apparently seem intent on ensuring that the drug is not known, Capuzzo reveals.

Op-Ed: Quit Ignoring Natural COVID Immunity

— Antibody testing and proof of prior infection can allow more people to return to normal
A computer rendering of antibodies attacking a COVID-19 virus

Epidemiologists estimate over 160 million people worldwide have recovered from COVID-19. Those who have recovered have an astonishingly low frequency of repeat infection, disease, or death. That immunity from prior infection protects many people now where vaccines are not yet available.

Earlier this month the World Health Organization released a scientific update stating that most people who have recovered from COVID-19 develop a strong protective immune response. Importantly, they summarize that within 4 weeks of infection, 90% to 99% of people who recover from COVID-19 develop detectable neutralizing antibodies. Furthermore, they conclude — given the limited amount of time to observe cases — that the immune response remains strong for at least 6 to 8 months after infection.

This update echoes what the NIH reported in January 2021: The immune response of more than 95% of people who recovered from COVID-19 had durable memories of the virus up to 8 months after infection. The NIH went further to state that those findings “provide hope” that people who get vaccinated will develop similar lasting immunity.

So why are we so focused on vaccine-induced immunity — in our goals to reach herd immunity, our gatekeeping on travel, public or private events, or mask use — while ignoring natural immunity? Shouldn’t those who have natural immunity also be able to return to “normal” activities? (See link for article)

I normally have to plug my nose anytime I read an article from Medscape, but this one is spot on.  Why is natural immunity being downplayed and even ignored, while a dangerous, experimental injection is being pushed at all costs?

Important quote:

If SARS-CoV-2 immunity is similar to other severe coronavirus infections like SARS-CoV-1 immunity, that protection could last at least 17 years.

The authors, one of which is a former CDC medical officer, point out the complete bias against natural immunity by stating that the FDA, without presenting any data, issued a public safety statement:

“while SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests play an important role in identifying people who have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and may have developed an adaptive immune response, antibody tests should not be used to determine immunity or protection against COVID-19.”

Huh?

The authors further state that since 90-99% of those who recover develop detectable antibodies, doctors can use the correct test to inform people of their risk, and counsel them that they have strong protective immunity that  is similar to or BETTER THAN vaccine-induced immunity.

Johns Hopkins School of Medicine professor, Dr. Marty Makary, also a professor at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, also blasted the CDC for ignoring natural immunity. He states natural immunity from a severe COVID infection is probably life-long.

Further, Makary believes governing bodies are guilty of “demonizing” people who decide not to get vaccinated, even when they have recovered from a COVID infection and have the antibodies, forming a natural immunity.

These doctors state policymakers should include natural immunity as evidence of immunity equal to that of vaccination.

As it stands now, people who have not succumbed to the jab are singled out and forced to continue wearing ineffective and dangerous masks. They are also losing their jobs.

The reason natural immunity is being vilified is quite simple: it is an inconvenient truth that interferes with the accepted narrative that everyone must succumb to the jab at all costs – regardless of previous infection, health status, beliefs, or the fact it completely violates personal freedom and choice.

ABDOMINAL PAIN, ILEUS AND CONSTIPATION DUE TO LYME DISEASE

doctor examining woman with abdominal pain due to lyme disease

Welcome to another Inside Lyme Podcast. I am your host Dr. Daniel Cameron. In this episode, I will be discussing the case of a 65-year-old woman with abdominal pain, ileus/pseudo-obstruction and constipation due to Lyme disease.

Zulfiqar and colleagues first described this case in an article entitled “The many manifestations of a single disease: neuroborreliosis,” published in the Journal of Community Hospital Internal Medicine Perspectives.¹

A 65-year-old woman on hormonal therapy for estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer presented to the Emergency Department with sudden seventh nerve palsy, commonly referred to as Bell’s palsy.

One week prior, she began having burning back pain radiating to the abdomen, which had grown worse and over the past several months had suffered from constipation.

Stroke, herpes virus or Lyme disease?

The woman was admitted to the hospital for a suspected stroke. However, there was no evidence of a stroke by brain CT or MRI.

Doctors also suspected she had a herpes zoster infection and prescribed valacyclovir, an anti-viral medication.

The patient worked frequently in her backyard and was exposed to wooded areas. She also recalled having a rash on her stomach 11 days before being admitted to the hospital.

“Lyme serum antibody (IgG and IgM) was positive with confirmatory Western blot resulting in multiband reactivity,” the authors write. Spinal tap test results were also positive for Lyme disease.

The woman was diagnosed with neuroborreliosis, or Lyme disease and treated with oral doxycycline.

However, while hospitalized the patient developed diffuse abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and worsening constipation.

An abdominal x-ray showed mild ileus. “CT abdomen with contrast was done which suggested constipation without obstruction or ‘significant’ ileus,” the authors explain. A colonoscopy was also normal.

The woman was also diagnosed with Syndrome of Inappropriate Anti-diuretic Hormones (SIADH) based on a sodium of 129 and typical urine findings.

Abdominal pain, gastrointestinal problems in Lyme disease

The authors highlight several studies demonstrating a range of gastrointestinal problems, including abdominal pain, associated with Lyme disease.

“There have been many case reports in the past highlighting the atypical presentation of Lyme disease including, but not limited to pseudo-obstruction, constipation, back pain radiating to abdomen (radiculoneuritis) known as Bannwarth Syndrome as a manifestation of autonomic dysfunction related to neuroborreliosis,” the authors explain.

This patient also suffered from anorexia with a loss of 14 pounds. One study found that 23% of 314 patients with early Lyme disease suffered from anorexia.

Meanwhile, Shamim et al. reported two cases of patients who presented with severe constipation and hyponatremia in addition to other features of Lyme disease.

Lyme neuroborreliosis has also been reported as “the culprit of chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction” in other studies, the authors explain. “The patients can develop worsening constipation and obstipation as diagnosis and treatment is delayed, leading to diffuse bowel dilation in the absence of mechanical obstruction.”

Lastly, “There have been a few case reports of SIADH associated with neuroborreliosis,” writes Zulfiqar.

Authors’ Conclusion: Lyme disease should be suspected in patients who are from Lyme endemic areas and present with abdominal pain, constipation and SIADH with or without cranial nerve palsy.

The following questions are addressed in this podcast episode:

  1. Why was a stroke initially considered?
  2. Why was herpes zoster suspected?
  3. What are the causes of 7th nerve palsy?
  4. What is SIADH?
  5. What is ileus?
  6. What is Bannwarth Syndrome?
  7. How are GI issues related to autonomic dysfunction?

Cataract resident advocates for individuals struggling with Lyme disease

Alicia Cashman

Cataract resident Alicia Cashman, a Lyme disease patient, advocate and leader with Madison Lyme Support Group, is passionate about the cause as she herself has been fighting the battle for over a decade after a tiny tick changed her and her husband’s lives.

Most people don’t know that a tick can contain many pathogens. Cashman prefers the term MSIDS, or Multi Systemic Infectious Disease Syndrome, over Lyme Disease as it is almost always far more than just borrelia, the causative agent of Lyme disease.

“Due to the synergistic effects of these pathogens, treatment is often far more complex and longer than the CDC’s treatment guidelines of 21 days of doxycycline and that particular mono therapy rarely works unless you catch it early,” she said. “We saw neither tick nor rash and less than 30 percent do, but we tested positively on the Extended Western Blot from Igenex Labs in California, which is one of the few labs that uses a far more sensitive testing.”

As stated earlier, Lyme disease is caused by bacteria called Borrelia. There are 100 different strains of Borrelia in the United States and 300 worldwide. Current CDC testing only tests for one strain, according to Cashman. (See link for article)

I’m thankful the staff writer didn’t shy away from the polarization in the medical community, research bias, conflicts of interest, or the fact this is probably sexually transmitted.

We need the truth if we ever expect to move forward.

I never know what the outcome of these interviews will be, but I’m happy with this one.  Good, honest information with very practical advice.
