We Have No Reason to Believe 5G Is Safe

The technology is coming, but contrary to what some people say, there could be health risks

By Joel M. Moskowitz on

…the preponderance of peer-reviewed research, more than 500 studies, have found harmful biologic or health effects from exposure to RFR at intensities too low to cause significant heating.

Joel Moskowitz on the health risks of cell phone radiation

https://news.berkeley.edu/2019/07/19/berkeley-talks-joel-moskowitz-cell-phones-electromagnetic-radiation/  (Listen to Talk here)

Excerpt:

Moskowitz gave a talk last spring called “Cell Phones, Cell Towers and Wireless Safety” for Be Well at Work, a University Health Services program at UC Berkeley for staff and faculty to improve employee health and well-being. The event was co-sponsored by the School of Public Health.

Moskowitz, who has conducted research on disease prevention programs and policies for more than 30 years, says that with the influx of smartphones has come hundreds of thousands of cell towers. These towers receive and transmit radio frequencies called microwaves — the same waves used in microwave ovens.

In 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization classified radiofrequency radiation as “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” based on studies of cell phone radiation and brain tumor risk in humans.

“Currently, we have considerably more evidence that would warrant a stronger classification,” says Moskowitz, an adviser to the International EMF Scientist Appealsigned by more than 240 scientists who publish peer-reviewed research on electromagnetic radiation. “Many scientists today feel that it’s time for IARC to re-review the literature given all the research that’s been published since 2011 to upgrade this to at least ‘probably carcinogenic to humans,’ if not actually ‘carcinogenic.’”

To reduce the risk of harm, Moskowitz recommends that we:

  1. Minimize use of cell phones or cordless phones. Use a landline whenever possible.
  2. Keep cell phones away from our heads and bodies. Ten inches from your body, as compared to one-tenth of an inch, results in a 10,000-fold reduction in radiation exposure. Store your phone in a backpack or purse and text or use a wired headset or speakerphone for calls.
  3. Use cell phones only when the signal is strong. A new study by the California Department of Public Health found up to a 10,000-fold increase in electromagnetic radiation exposure when reception was poor (when you have one or two bars on your phone).

For an interesting read on the connection between COVID-19, COVID injections, 5G, and Chemtrails.

A few important excerpts:

…globalist entities that are behind the military deployment of 5G worldwide needed a cover for the inevitable outbreaks of both 5G Flu and 5G Syndrome.  The coronavirus pandemic has provided just that, especially in light of the fact that many of the symptoms of both are quite similar. See: Is The “Coronavirus” Actually Microwave Illness from 4G and 5G Radiation?

There have been many telltale signs that are dead giveaways about the close coordination between the military deployment of 5G just before the first major COVID-19 outbreaks around the world.  For example, Wuhan was established as China’s first 5G “Demonstration Zone” in 2019. See: Wuhan City Was expected to have 10,000 5G base stations operating by the end of 2019

Another major clue concerns the highly suspicious work being conducted at Harvard University.  The activation of 5G energy grids amps up the manifestation and severity of Covid symptoms considerably which is why Harvard’s Charles M. Lieber holds the U.S. Patent for using 5G radiation to vibrate corona virus particles from preset nanotubule containers.  The Chair of the Chemistry Department was arrested and indicted in June of 2020.

….Just how many assaults can the human body take before it starts to break down, particularly for the elderly and those with serious comorbidities. See: CHEMTRAIL SYNDROME: A Global Pandemic Of Epic Proportions

The article also points out that the aerosolized and chemically mobile aluminum oxide is “particularly toxic to the brain when permitted to pass through the blood-brain barrier.” This was accomplished through the invasive nasal COVID-19 testing which punctured the brain lining, causing some to need surgery.

Update on Wisconsin Lyme Bills – Please Contact Your Representative on AB 313

The following Wisconsin Assembly Bills passed the Senate and Committees in the Assembly:

AB 315, previously LRBs 1758 and 3360 – Requires the DNR to post signs to raise awareness of Lyme Disease, inform on how to prevent tick bites, and encourage visitors to check for ticks after visits to be posted in a common area, such as the park entrance, a trailhead or in a campground, in all State Parks, Forests, Recreational Areas, and Trails

AB 316, previously LRBs 1759 and 3359 – Requires the DNR to sell bug spray with DEET, which can help to repeal ticks, in all State Parks and Forests when their Park or Forest Office or other location in the Park or Forest, such as a concession stand, is open

AB 317, previously LRBs 2738 and 3358 – Requires the DNR to post information in certain Parks brochures to raise awareness of Lyme Disease, inform on how to prevent tick bites, and encourage visitors to check for ticks after visiting a State Park, and requires the DNR to complete an annual awareness campaign in May of each year, which is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, on digital and print platforms to raise awareness of Lyme Disease, inform on how to prevent tick bites, and encourage visitors to check for ticks after spending time outdoors

AB 313, previously LRBs 1652 and 3362 – Establishes a sixteen-member Tick-Borne Disease Study Committee to create a report for the legislature on consensus-based recommendations for policy changes on awareness, prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, reporting, and treatment of Lyme Disease

This last bill would allow Governor Evers to appoint a 16 member advisory panel to offer recommendations on how doctors treat Lyme disease.

Many of us have explained to our representatives about the potential for that bill to go side-ways since nothing about Lyme/MSIDS is agreed upon.

There is still polarity in mainstream medicine on how to diagnose and treat this with many doctors completely ignorant. They continue to tell patients it’s all in their head.

It is also serious government over reach – telling doctors how to treat patients. Imagine for a moment telling doctors how to treat diabetes, cancer, or a broken bone.  It just isn’t done.

Please continue to let your representative know we are NOT in favor of such a bill.

Right now the state of Wisconsin has a good handful of doctors treating this appropriately.

We do not want to make things worse for them with a bill that could literally mandate how they treat patients.

Tick Act Bill Renamed & Passed Unanimously

Thank you to everyone who contacted Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin.  I’m happy to report that the Tick Act Bill, renamed to the Kay Hagan Tick Act Bill after former U.S. Senator Hagan who recently succumbed to Powassan Virus, passed unanimously through the HELP Committee. It now moves forward to the Senate for a vote.

Politicians are listening due to one thing only – your involvement and effort.

Voice from every U.S. state were heard with over 150 Lyme foundations and organizations along with state the federal organizations.

This is a win for patients.

Excerpt:

Is there a provision within the Tick Act to restrict research funds from the con artists who have characterized Lyme as a simple nuisance disease (Hard to catch and easily treated)?

Patients who fail treatment are kicked to the curb and told they have “Medically Unexplained Symptoms” [3] while ignoring the large body of evidence that we have been dealing all along with an antibiotic resistant/tolerant superbug. [4]

Previous NIH funding for Lyme was under the direction of Edward McSweegan and Philip Baker. Corrective action: The NIH should suspend all funding to researchers with a bias against persistent Borrelia infection particularly those who have been named in the Texas racketeering lawsuit [6] who continue to use taxpayer dollars to fund their ongoing racketeering/propaganda scheme.

There needs to be an immediate shutdown of the “open checkbook” handed to Dr. Gary Wormser by the US Centers for Disease Control (Funding: RO1 CK 000152) with his unethical fixation on the acute stage of disease purposely avoiding the advanced stage which hides the horribly disabled.

Complaint filed with the Office of Research Integrity:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/94jv3w2hb0z9lv7/Email%20sent%20to%20the%20Office%20of%20Research%20Integrity.docx?dl=0

Here is the short list of con artists who were also coauthors of the deplorable Lancet article, Lyme disease antiscience. [7]

Defendants in the RICO lawsuit: (There are many more researchers to be included in this short list)

  1. GARY P. WORMSER
  2. RAYMOND J. DATTWYLER
  3. EUGENE SHAPIRO
  4. JOHN J. HALPERIN
  5. LEONARD SIGAL
  6. ALLEN STEERE
Put an end to the favoritism in research funding for Lyme at the NIH or are we going to experience yet another decade of unimaginable pain and suffering.

Amount of Grant

Grants are awarded in incremental amounts. The lifetime maximum amount of a grant is $10,000 per individual or $30,000 per family.

Questions about grants can be emailed to grants@lymelightfoundation.org  Please see the below list of FAQs which may answer your questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

General

What expenses does a grant cover?

A grant covers expenses relating to the treatment of Lyme disease. This includes medication, supplements, doctor visits, lab testing, alternative practitioners such as Acupuncturists and Chiropractors, and transportation to and from the out of area doctor or lab. Grants may not be used for education expenses or Lyme treatment for anyone other than the grant recipient (i.e. parents or friends). Grants may not be used for past medical debt, food, rent or mortgage expenses.

What is the maximum grant? How does the incremental funding work?

The lifetime maximum grant is $10,000 per individual or $30,000 per family. LymeLight provides an initial, smaller grant in order to partner with the grant recipient. LymeLight must receive the appropriate feedback before additional funding is considered. Each recipient is required to verify use of funds and to complete the grant feedback form and then is eligible to re-apply for additional funding.

Application Questions

How does the application process work?

LymeLight Foundation uses an online application system. To apply you must submit an application form, doctor’s letter and letters of support. You will be notified of the decision via email and the decision will also be posted to your account.

I have more than one child struggling with Lyme, how do I apply?

Each family is required to use the same account with the same login and password. However, a separate application and doctor letter is required for each child applying. IMPORTANT: Do NOT create a new Account for each family member. Parents may complete the application for their children. If awarded a grant we require each child to have his or her own pledge form, feedback form and submission of receipts.

What is required for the doctor’s letter?

LymeLight Foundation will determine medical eligibility with the help of the applicant’s treating US physician. The doctor’s letter must meet the following requirements:

  • Addressed to LymeLight Foundation
  • Written on the doctor’s letterhead
  • Signed by the doctor
  • Confirm the diagnosis of Lyme disease
  • State applicant’s name, date of birth and provide a brief case history
  • It is helpful to have the doctor speak to the financial need

A positive lab test does not replace the need for a doctor letter. A treating physician is defined as a Lyme-literate MD, ND, DO, PA-C or NP. NDs must be have graduated from a CNME accredited institution. The grant application is not complete and eligible for consideration by the Board of Directors until LymeLight receives the doctor’s letter. The doctor’s letter is valid for 2 years.

Should I check in with LymeLight while my grant application is in process?

We will send you email notifications when we have received your application, doctor letter, letters of support and a final email when your application is complete. You may login at any time to view your account and check the status of your application and see any remaining tasks that are due.

How will I know if I will be awarded a grant?

LymeLight Foundation will email each applicant after the board meeting with a decision. The decision will also be posted to the applicant’s online account. The notification will occur approximately 2 months after the application deadline. Your patience is appreciated.

After Decision

I have been put on the waitlist, now what?

To be reconsidered at future board meetings, you must fill out the waitlist update by logging in below. We encourage you to provide updates as to your status and current need. You may provide more details on your financial situation, current medical needs or any new obstacle that we may not be aware of. Please share anything you think we should know. Your application will stay active for one year. At that point you can apply again if still eligible.

What happens when a grant is awarded?

If you are selected for a grant, it is required that you sign an online pledge form committing to provide feedback and verifying the use of funds. We require the submission of receipts used for treatment. We also want to learn more about you and your Lyme journey. It may be used as a Story of Hope on our website. We will be interested to learn how your treatment grant affected your healing. We will contact you if we are ready to share it online to ensure this does not present a problem.  Please also send photos. We appreciate frequent communication. Please send communication to grants@lymelightfoundation.org.

Do I need to use all my funds before giving feedback and asking for an additional grant?

You do not need to use all your funds before applying for an additional grant. We recommend at least half of your initial grant funds be spent before you re-apply. However, we realize that grant recipients need financial visibility when making ongoing treatment choices and medical appointments. We also recognize that treatment disruptions are not beneficial. If you are re-applying before the majority of funds are spent please provide a plan for the remaining funds on the re-application form.

Center for Lyme launches to lobby Congress for more research, treatment options

This undated file photo provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows a blacklegged tick, also known as a deer tick, a carrier of Lyme disease.
A new nonprofit launched this week will focus on lobbying Congress to expand funding for the development of new drugs and diagnostic tools for battling Lyme disease.

The Center for Lyme Action launched on Tuesday in addition to hosting a congressional forum with lawmakers from Minnesota, New Jersey and California, along with Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), who gave a keynote address via video.

“The incidence of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases has exploded over the past 15 years,” Collins said in her video statement. “The TICK Act that I authored would apply a three-pronged public health approach to address Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses, establishing a national effort and providing much-needed investments to help slow the spread of these devastating diseases and better protect the health of more Americans.”

Lyme disease is the fastest-growing vector-borne illness in the United States, and Pennsylvania ranks first in the nation when it comes to Lyme cases.

The National Institute of Health earlier this month released a “Strategic Plan for Tick-borne Disease Research” to address the rising incidence of tick-borne disease and better understand the complex interplay between host, tick, and pathogens.

The number of reported cases more than doubled from 2004 to 2016, according to NIH data.

The plan’s five main priorities are:

• Improve the fundamental knowledge about tick-borne diseases;

• Advance research to improve the diagnosis of such diseases;

• Accelerate research to improve their prevention;

• Promote research to improve treatment of all tick-borne diseases;

• Support tools and resources to advance all of the above goals.

“Lyme is a frustrating and debilitating disease, but it’s a problem we can solve,” said Center for Lyme Action co-found Bonnie Crater. “What is needed is dedicated and sustained funding to research and commercialize a better way to diagnosis and treat this growing public health threat.”

Below, hear Bell Township resident Amy Wiester’s story of dealing with nearly a lifetime of Lyme disease’s effects.

Crater said the NIH report is a positive development given that NIH funding has been in decline for many years. In 2000, the NIH budget for Lyme was $2,117 per patient compared to $700 per patient in 2018, according to Crater.

Similar legislation in the House has the goal of creating a national strategy to address Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases and disorders.
