Raelynn Robar says she has good and bad days after being diagnosed with Lyme disease in October of last year. Today, the four-year-old says she’s feeling alright and not dealing with any major symptoms.
“Mostly it’s joint pain,” said Christina Robar, Raelynn’s mother. “She does get headaches and pain through her sinuses and every once in a while she’ll have an upset stomach.”
Christina believes her daughter was bitten by a black-legged tick in July last summer. Although they never found the tick, her daughter did develop a rash and eventually the symptoms became more apparent. (See link for article)

My advice is to avoid infectious disease doctors like the plague. These doctors have their heads in the sand and will be only a source of frustration. No help at all. Zero. Nadda. In fact patients report back that they are often abused by these people who are in denial.
Unfortunately, this story reflects so many others. As this well-meaning mother waits, the infection(s) embed deeper within the body making it only harder to treat. The fact the girl already has headaches shows it’s gone neuro and is in the brain – one of the toughest places to treat.
The most frustrating yet telling quote:
“We’ve went back to the doctor and there’s apparently nothing they can do for her at this point,” said Christina
That is actually false.
This is where geographical maps showing where ticks supposedly exits and don’t exist have failed patients in that doctors would rather look at a map and discount you rather than listen and learn that ticks are everywhere now and it’s got nothing to do with the climate.
There’s plenty they could do for her, but they won’t. This neglect is medical malpractice and a complete departure from the Hippocratic Oath. But, due to the politicalization of this disease, doctors are too afraid to treat it. It’s actually a lot like COVID in that sense.
Until the corrupt public health system is dealt with, patients will never get the help they need. Time to break the medical health monopoly.
