I first posted about the Wisconsin Xcel Utility Meter Takeover back in August.  I was naive to believe I’d be safe in the Wisconsin woods.  I was wrong.  My research revealed that a Public Service Commission, appointed by the Governor, which divides the state up into sections that are then assigned a utility company, is supposed to “represent” the public.  After contacting both Xcel and the PSC, I’ve learned that the PSC is allowing the utility companies to do whatever they wish without consumer input, consent, or recourse.  This is called a government monopoly using a public/private partnership (the current evil of our time).  Xcel is not offering an “opt out” for consumers who don’t want these devices.

Similarly to how ‘the powers that be’ continue to blame ‘climate change’ for every ill under the sun, they also continue to roll out technology that affects human and animal health without independent safety testing.  You never hear anything in mainstream media or from public health agencies about the very real dangers of cellphones, 5G, wind turbines, electric cars, solar, or Smart meters,  buildings and cities – but they ALL cause deleterious health effects, and nobody has a clue what the cumulative effect of this toxic cocktail has on biology. 

Their proposed “green” solutions are a scam and never deal with the real problems, because of severe conflicts of interest.  Lastly, utility companies are not being honest and are using underhanded tactics to deploy these radiation devices as they get a lot of federal and state money for doing so, despite 97% of smart meters failing to provide promised customer benefits.

Do your own research into these technologies and you will discover they aren’t “green” at all and are not only unsustainable, but dangerous to the environment, human health, and pose privacy and security risks.

Tell Your State Legislators to Introduce & Support Utility Meter Choice!

Smart and digital utility meters are actively being deployed and mandated across the U.S. without adequately informing consumers of the health, safety and privacy risks.

Unlike electromechanical analog meters that have been safely used for decades, smart meters and (some) digital meters emit toxic levels of pulsed radiofrequency (RF) radiation, are a fire hazard and enable companies to sell near real-time private usage data to third parties.

TO MANDATE THESE UTILITY METERS IS UNACCEPTABLE – WHERE THERE IS RISK, THERE MUST BE CHOICE!

• Utility Meter Choice. In states where smart and digital meters have been deployed, allow consumers to opt out.
• Consumer Consent. In states where smart and digital meters have not yet been deployed, require utility companies to obtain consumer consent before installations (i.e., require an opt in).
• Protective Privacy Laws. Require utility companies to be transparent about how utility meter data is collected, managed, stored, used and sold.
