WASHINGTON ( ABC NEWS10) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is increasing funding for Lyme disease research by 12 percent, or a more than $1 million increase.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) says the amendment to an existing bill marks the first increase in CDC Lyme funding in years.

He says the funding will be used to study and prevent exposure to pathogens that cause Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

While this looks good first blush, it will only help patients if the Cabal isn’t spear-heading it as their research is typically flawed in a myriad of ways.  This money needs to get into the hands of folks who truly are open-minded, are willing to look hard despite previous research, and don’t follow a party-line.  If that doesn’t happen, expect more studies saying 21 days of doxy will cure you and that any symptoms after that time-frame are all in your head.
