How Can Mother to Fetus Transmission of Lyme disease Be Rare When No One Is Counting?

For those of you just tuning in, the CDC website recently admitted that Lyme disease can be spread congenitally (mother to baby) but that it’s “rare.”  https://madisonarealymesupportgroup.com/2020/02/01/cdc-website-updated-today-possibility-of-mother-to-fetus-transmission-of-lyme-disease/

https://www.lymedisease.org/cdc-mother-fetus-lyme-transmission/

But, Lyme advocate Carl Tuttle makes a great point.  How can it be “rare” when no one’s looking for it or counting it?

Subject: U.S. health agency acknowledges Lyme disease mother-to-fetus transmission

U.S. Department of Health & Human Services

Washington, D.C. 20201
Attn: Alex Michael Azar II, United States Secretary of Health and Human Services

Dear Mr. Secretary,

I would like to call attention to the following Chronicle Herald article:

U.S. health agency acknowledges Lyme disease mother-to-fetus transmission
https://www.thechronicleherald.ca/news/provincial/us-health-agency-acknowledges-lyme-disease-mother-to-fetus-transmission-409641/

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website was updated Jan. 27 to include mother to fetus as a possible way of transmitting the disease. The new section states,

“Untreated Lyme disease during pregnancy can lead to infection of the placenta. Spread from mother to fetus is possible but rare.”

Comment:

Mother-to-fetus transmission is rare? If no one is looking; no one is counting.

What’s going on here Secretary Azar?

In reference to “other modes of transmission” please refer to the Tick-Borne Disease Working Group website:

Clinical Aspects of Lyme Disease Subcommittee Report to the Tick-Borne Disease Working Group

Priority 3: Further evaluate purported human-to-human sexual transmission of Lyme disease.

“But because of the implications of sexual transmission, some members recommended that further studies be conducted to validate or refute this possible mode of transmission,….” [1]

Please see the following 2003 publication

“The data suggest there may exist a much larger unrecognized pool of Bbsl-infected individuals sustained by persistent intra-human transfer that we provisionally call “Epidemic Borreliosis” Treatment modalities and schedules to eradicate B. burgdorferi from all patients regardless of infection route or duration must be created. If our experience holds, this will be a difficult task and will require serious and rapid commitment from all nations.”

“Our clinical experience strongly suggests that predictable, possibly inevitable Lyme disease transfer between sexually active couples occurs. The preponderance of infected spouses we have tested to date also exhibit positive serology or PCR for Bbsl presence.”

Substantial data support the probability that human Bbsl infection can persist indefinitely.”

Summary:

It would appear that the US Centers for Disease Control has failed to recognize the severity of Lyme disease while aligning itself with the academics focused on suppressing evidence of Congenital Transmission along with persistent infection after aggressive antibiotic treatment. (Racketeering scheme)

These actions have misguided an entire medical community as some physicians here in New Hampshire claim they don’t believe in Lyme disease as depicted in the attached caricature. (Reference available upon request) We have lost three decades to this racketeering activity [2] while the attention and research dollars should have been used to find new approaches to fight this antibiotic resistant/tolerant superbug.

“We are seeing so many young people, previously completely healthy & vital with lives totally de-railed by (the disease that does not exist) chronic Lyme disease.  The medical profession is entirely ‘blind’ to this devastating, complex, multi-system illness that, in aggregate, can be totally disabling. (not to mention, of course, the compounding factors of co-infections making their illnesses even more complex). To me, like playing 3 simultaneous games of chess against 3 opposing ‘Chess-masters’”  -Kenneth Liegner, MD

We are dealing with a life-altering/life-threatening infection with faulty/misleading antibody tests, inadequate treatment, no medical training and absolutely no disease control whatsoever; a public health disaster.

Lyme disease is a 21st Century plague hidden in plain sight as patient testimony all across America is describing a disease that is destroying lives, ending careers while leaving its victim in financial ruin. ….. Lyme disease is a public health emergency Secretary Azar!

Respectfully Submitted,

Carl Tuttle

A moratorium on ALL Lyme vaccines should be demanded until the issues of congenital, sexual, and other means of transmission are cleared up as well as the very real issue of persistent infection.

Funny how the CDC will admit things (congenital transmission) right before they want to promote a vaccine that will line their pockets.  Coincidence?  I think not.

The following news story is a great example.  They used sick patients to explain how devastating this is only to be supposedly “saved” by a new magic-bullet vaccine:

Shania Twain on Performing After Lyme Disease Battle: ‘It Would Have Killed Me’ to Never Sing Again

Jeff Nelson

Shania Twain is back in the saddle after a health battle.

After wrapping her Rock This Country Tour in 2015, the Nashville icon took some time off to focus on family — but she was also silently dealing with vocal cord problems.

“I was on a long sabbatical, and my son [Eja, 18, with ex Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange] was getting older. I love being a full-time mom, but I started thinking, ‘What am I going to do when I have an empty nest?’ I had a problem with my voice; I was avoiding doing something about it,” Twain explains in the new issue of PEOPLE.

“As my son got more independence, I had more time to start focusing on my voice and I put all my energy into that,” Twain, 54, adds.

The Grammy winner then learned that her problems with her voice were caused by Lyme disease.

“When I realized that I could barely sing at all anymore, I was like, ‘I’m humiliating myself. I can’t get out there and do this. I have to stop until I figure it out.’ I thought that it was just fatigue or burnout,” she reflects. “But no — Lyme disease commonly affects the nerves. When I discovered a glimpse of hope, I ran with that.”

After seeking medical help, undergoing open-throat surgery and strengthening her vocal cords, Twain returned in 2017 with her fifth album Now — her first in 15 years. In 2018 she hit the road for a triumphant comeback tour, the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” singer launched her “Let’s Go!” Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater last December.

And Twain proved she’s still got it last week when she performed at the American Heart Association‘s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection fashion show in New York City.

“Women’s health has become much more of my own priority; you have a lot of realizations as you start getting older,” she says. “Awareness is everything. Heart health is something that a lot of women do take for granted. You would never expect the high rate of women that are affected by heart disease — it is the highest killer of a disease in women, which I would have never guessed.”

With her own health crisis under control, the singer-songwriter is thrilled to be back in the studio and onstage.

“It would have killed me not to be able to ever sing again,” she says. “I wasn’t going to let my life be over if I wasn’t going to be able to sing again,  but I would have been very sad and I would have mourned that forever. But it is a great love of mine and a passion — that’s what got me back on stage again, because I could. Now I have more appreciation for it than ever.”

Dr. Jason West – The Real Cause of Lyme Disease & the Use of Ozone Therapy

Dr. West states that he almost always sees improvement on patients using ozone therapy.

Dr. West supports the mechanisms of the body to fight lyme disease. Many of these include natural treatments like ozone therapy and UBI. But they do not work without the surrounding pillars that need to be in place. Natural treatments for lyme disease must be accompanied by lifestyle change.  He does not exclude the use of antibiotics.  We covered multiple topics, including:

  • Is alternative medicine becoming the NEW conventional?
  • How can patients become empowered with education?
  • What is the underlying cause of Lyme disease?
  • What are the standard treatments for Lyme disease and how is the West Clinic totally different?

Lyme disease and heart transplantation: presentation of a clinical case and a literature review

Abstract

Background.

Lyme disease, the most common anthropozoonosis, is a transmissible natural focal infection affecting various organs and systems. Also known as Lyme borreliosis, it is caused by Borrelia spirochetes, which are distributed by ticks of the genus Ixodes. Early diagnosis is difficult due to frequent occurrence of atypical symptoms, unnoticed tick bites, the absence of migratory erythematous lesions, and symptoms occurring during the non-tick season. If not diagnosed and treated in time, dissemination of the infection occurs and various complications develop since borrelias damage not only the skin but also the nervous system, joints, and, in rare cases, the heart and eyes.

Materials and methods.

This article presents a clinical case of Lyme borreliosis-induced myocarditis, which led to the development of dilated cardiomyopathy and, consequently, urgent cardiac transplantation. According to our data, this is one of the first described cases of this complication in the world.

Results and conclusions.

When diagnosed in time and treated properly, the prognosis of Lyme myocarditis is usually good. In most cases, the atrioventricular block disappears within 1–2 weeks of antibiotic treatment and the implantation of a temporary pacemaker is rarely needed. In those rare cases of a chronic Borrelia burgdorferi infection, dilated cardiomyopathy may develop; thus if a sudden atrioventricular block occurs, the physician should be vigilant and perform the necessary tests to exclude the diagnosis of Lyme disease.

When you consider how many people are turned away on a daily basis due to negative testing you begin to see that stating this is “rare,” is a bit premature.  So many are undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.
