“You are safer outside than inside.” Disease expert criticises restrictions

Social restrictions on people sitting on a park bench or walking on a beach don’t make biological sense according to an infectious diseases expert.
Professor Peter Collignon from the Australian National University medical school said if people stay two metres apart it should be adequate social distancing.
Professor Collignon’s comments come as NSW and Victoria introduce strict social restrictions.
“You are safer outside than inside,” he said. “I do not see how anyone’s going to get this virus if they keep two metres away from someone and I don’t see how anyone’s going to get it if they sit on a park bench.”

The UK plans to roll out “immunity passports” to allow people who have contracted COVID-19 to leave the lockdown early.
UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the certificates would be issued to people who have built up immunity to the coronavirus so they can return to “normal life.”
Citizens would need to test positive in an antibody test before being issued with the certificates.
However, the UK has yet to identify a reliable test for antibodies to the virus.
I’ve stated before that I believe my whole family had COVID-19 back in January. As I talk with people, they too feel they’ve already had it. It would be nice to test for it just to know – but the tests, similarly with Lyme disease, are completely worthless. This is probably one of the hardest things for patients wanting a piece of paper to understand. Unfortunately we live in a world where pieces of paper confer validation.
If we break this down logically; however, the same that is true for Lyme/MSIDS is true for COVID-19 and that is you look at symptoms and go from there. But some will say, but COVID-19 is novel (new) and we need to be more worried about it. Do we? Who says? Remember, Coronaviruses are an ever present part of the seasonal flu cycle and constitute 10-15% of the yearly flu.

Peter Navarro Explodes At Fauci In Heated Showdown Over Hydroxychloroquine
White House economic adviser got into a massive argument with the coronavirus task force’s Anthony Fauci over the doctor’s ongoing resistance to the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, despite reports of the drug’s widespread efficacy. (See link for article)
Please keep in mind that again – most people contract the virus and have minor symptoms, if any at all, and go onto fully recover. For severe cases; however, hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) is proving to be a game changer.
A few important quotes from the article:
“Physicians should have more of a voice in how we deal with this pandemic and be able to quickly share information with one another and the world,” he said. “With censorship of the media and the medical community in some countries, along with biased and poorly designed studies, solutions to the pandemic are being delayed.”
I couldn’t agree more. If there’s one thing that’s needed it’s level heads based upon unbiased science. In my opinion too much power has been given to a very small list of people who often don’t even have medical training let alone experience treating patients.
I’m also hearing from European doctors that they can’t even prescribe plaquenil due to “side effects.”
But these doctors weren’t born in a barn and understand that “the powers that be” won’t profit from a drug that costs 10 cents a pill. They also remember that for 70 years plaquenil was given to all travellers over the counter and then one day “POOF!” it became a prescription drug.

The survey also found that 83% of global physicians anticipate a second global outbreak, including 90% of U.S. doctors but only 50% of physicians in China.
This last statement isn’t being addressed at all – but COVID-19 is a virus. Viruses hang around and come back. The idea that humans are going to circumvent this natural phenomenon is completely illogical and quite frankly, egotistical.
In this eye-opening article by a molecular biologist, the author points out the exact same issue of the need to develop immunity to COVID-19 for the logical reason it will come back:

The author astutely points out that being exposed to viruses, bacteria, and other antigens strengthens the immune system and confers long-term immunity.

The author points out that all the fear panic purchasing of cleaning supplies is like “putting oil on a fire” and that those not exposed to COVID will be vulnerable to it in the future.
Even Mike Ryan, Executive Director of the WHO’s Emergency Services Program states,
“What we really need to focus on is finding those who are sick, those who have the virus, and isolate them — find their contacts and isolate them,” Ryan is quoted as saying in the interview. “The danger right now with the lock-downs … [is that] if we don’t put in place the strong public-health measures now, when those movement restrictions and lock-downs are lifted, the danger is the disease will jump back up.”
The question begging to be asked is WHY Fauci and other authorities are preventing people from conferring immunity and WHY he would deny life-saving treatment for severe cases.
When you answer those questions you begin to understand the real reasons behind this debacle.

This article explains about an Italian report titled ‘Covid-19 Does Not Lead to a “Typical” Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome‘. They affirm that the standard approach for ARDS (high Positive End Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) and Prone Positioning, often does more harm than good. Patients are described as suffering “severe hypoxemia” and the usual treatments are failing because they “result in severe hemodynamic impairment and fluid retention.” Also, a global survey of 6,000 doctors found Hydroxychloroquine is the most effective’ treatment for the coronavirus COVID-19.
Most coronavirus patients who end up on ventilators go on to die, according to several small studies from the U.S., China and Europe.
And many of the patients who continue to live can’t be taken off the mechanical breathing machines.
“It’s very concerning to see how many patients who require ventilation do not make it out of the hospital,” says Dr. Tiffany Osborn, a critical care specialist at Washington University in St. Louis who has been caring for coronavirus patients at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. (See link for article)

In light of the doctor’s video, it appears that ventilators, while helping some, can and have hurt patients. They have also been behind lung damagewhen used in the manner doctors have been told to use them.
Please remember that this doctor is working with the worst patients and that the vast majority of patients have mild symptoms, if any at all,and go onto fully recover. For those that develop severe disease, however, this information needs to be shared widely.
In all 12 COVID Autopsy cases, the cause of death was found within the lungs or the pulmonary vascular system. Those who did not die of large pulmonary emboli died of extensive inflammation, meaning pneumonia with ARDS. In these COVID Autopsy cases, the lungs were wet and heavy, like a saturated water sponge. The lung surfaces often had a distinct patchy pattern, with pale areas alternating with slightly protruding and firm, deep reddish-blue Hypercapillarized areas. This indicates areas of intense inflammation, with endothelial dysfunction that can be seen at the microscopic level. When they looked at the lungs’ slices under the microscope, they found diffuse alveolar damage in 8 COVID Autopsy cases. Specifically, they saw hyaline membrane formation, tiny clots in the capillaries, capillaries engorged with red blood cells, and other inflammatory findings. All these findings represent ARDS. They also found lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, infiltrated these areas of infiltration. This fits the picture of viral pathogenesis.
If these patients had been given life-saving drugs, they most probably would be here to talk about it.
Alessandro Pezzini, MD, associate professor of neurology at the University of Brescia (Italy) is also finding neurologic symptoms in some COVID-19 patients:
“In conclusion, both surgical and cotton masks seem to be ineffective in preventing the dissemination of SARS–CoV-2 from the coughs of patients with COVID-19 to the environment and external mask surface.”
In other words, if the CDC states something, do the exact opposite.
