Epidemiologist: Coronavirus could be ‘exterminated’ if lockdowns lifted

‘What people are trying to do is flatten the curve. I don’t really know why’

The unprecedented policy of mass quarantine to “flatten the curve” is only prolonging the coronavirus pandemic, contends a veteran scholar of epidemiology.

Results are in.  Florida, without lockdowns and masks has nearly the same hospitalization level as the 2018 flu season:
Telling quotes by Wittkowski:
“Well, I’m not paid by the government, so I’m entitled to actually do science,” he replied.  Kurt Wittkowski Ph.D.
Why is this virus being handled differently than others, such as the swine flu in 2009?
One factor, he said, is the growth of the internet, which spreads news quickly, whether true or false, fueling panic.
Please know, the CDC is a captured agency with absolutely no credibility:

Perspectives on the Pandemic Episode 2

In this explosive second edition of Perspectives on the Pandemic, Professor Knut Wittkowski, for twenty years head of The Rockefeller University’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design, says that social distancing and lockdown is the absolutely worst way to deal with an airborne respiratory virus.
Further, he offers data to show that China and South Korea had already reached their peak number of cases when they instituted their containment measures. In other words, nature had already achieved, or nearly achieved, herd immunity.

Professor Wittkowski urges that the schools be open now, so that the virus may spread harmlessly among the young, and thus shorten the amount of time the elderly and immune compromised must be sequestered.
Our current course, he warns, will only prolong the crisis and likely guarantee a second wave of infections in the Fall.
