Motor and Sensory Findings in Girls who Received Gardasil

Abstract

Here I describe neurological symptoms of 62 girls who were immunized against the human papilloma virus (HPV). Most participants (61) are Colombian and received the quadrivalent HPV vaccine Gardasil and a girl from Mexico received the bivalent Cervarix vaccine. The average age was 14.5 years (SD 2.1). This survey reveals an overall pattern of peripheral nervous system damage as demonstrated by complaints of inflammatory and neuropathic pain syndromes in the head, back, chest, arms and legs. There were also sensory and motor syndromes with upper and lower limb numbness and tingling (paraesthesia), muscle weakness and difficulty walking (paresis) accompanied by tremors, muscle spasms and twitches (abnormal movements). Most symptoms appeared after the second vaccine dose, which agrees with greater antibody titers seen in booster dose immunizations. A severely ill 13-year old girl with similar complaints and history of immunization, had high serum auto-antibody titers against nerve tissue as well as marked clinical improvement after anti-inflammatory and antibody removal therapy (plasmapheresis and IVIg). This evidence prompts me to propose an autoimmune hypersensitivity type II reaction triggered by Gardasil whose batch-specific antigens await further research. The general disease pattern described here consistent with a demyelinating disorder might not apply to every girl thus each one should be diagnosed and treated individually. This humble survey hopes to uncover leads to help the investigation sought by the Colombian Higher Courts. We must acknowledge the role played by Health Minister Alejandro Gaviria whose indiscriminate massive immunization campaign as well as absolute neglect and outward mishandling of the epidemic of Serious Adverse Events makes him worthy of consideration for the Nobel Prize in the category of Crimes against Humanity. We hope the International Criminal Court takes action on this issue, today a global matter. We invite scientists worldwide to investigate HPV vaccine lots to understand this disease.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a $1.1 billion Zika funding bill with a rider allowing for pesticides to be sprayed over ditches, streams, and waterways for 180 days with no permit over areas normally protected by the Clean Water Act. Two hundred thirty million will go to the NIH (National Institutes of Health) for vaccine development, $476 million will go to the CDC for mosquito control and “readiness and response activities,” and $85 million to BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority) for the development of rapid diagnostic tests.

The bill, still awaiting approval by the Senate, is heavily criticized for spending cuts and controversial policy changes – particularly being able to spray pesticides around drinking water since waterways already have high pesticide runoff with bug control agencies already able to spray in emergency situations without permits.

It also appears that the military, known for giving soldiers experimental vaccines, will probably be the first to receive a Zika vaccine.  At present, the virus is being grown in monkey liver cells, with researchers inactivating the virus, isolating particles and injecting into animals. They will then test it in primates and ultimately humans.

Also of note: Abortions rose by 108% in Brazil and Ecuador, 93% in Venezuela, 76% in Honduras, 39% in Colombia, and 36% in Costa Rica and El Salvador, with experts saying these numbers underestimate the true demand.

South American governments have actually warned women to avoid pregnancy. The astronomical abortion rise demonstrates the fear mongering.

These factors in a nutshell:

*Brazil has been using WHOLE-CELL pertussis vaccines on impoverished pregnant women in the 27th, 36th, and up to 20 days of expected birth date. Microcephaly is concentrated in the slums of Brazil.

*There is NO SIGN OF ZIKA in many cases of microcephaly.
*Zika has spread to over 40 countries with no increased microcephaly.
*They are spraying pyriproxyfen, a pyridine-based pesticide, on drinking water used by the affected population for 18 months.

For those of us here in the U.S. who are one of the underestimated and underreported 300,000 new cases of Lyme Disease per year, this extreme reaction to the Zika virus by our government is a true slap in the face. Where’s our funding?  Where’s our research?  Seriously.

There has not been ONE LOCAL mosquito-born Zika virus disease case in the U.S. Mosquito experts have gone on record stating that mosquito transmission cycles for Zika in the U.S. is near ZERO.

ZERO. And yet, money that could be used for research for LD/MSIDS (multi systemic infectious disease syndrome – or Lyme with friends) is now being thwarted and diverted to a rare tropical disease that for 80% who contract it don’t even know they have it.

This is how it is in the land of OZ – the wizard keeps looking the other way.  Meanwhile, Dorothy and Toto still need to get home, the Tin Man still needs a heart, the Scarecrow, brains, and the Lion desperately needs courage.
